Kyle Richards reacted to Brandi Glanville‘s sexual harassment allegations against Andy Cohen while appearing on Kelly Ripa‘s podcast on Wednesday.

While also denying she “blindsided” her daughters by filming her separation from Mauricio Umansky, 53, revealing that she’s been getting DMs from both men and women in the months since their split, and sharing her dream Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Kyle, 55, shaded Brandi’s claims against Andy as money-motivated.

Kyle referenced Brandi’s own admission that the RHUGT scandal, in which Caroline Manzo accuses her of sexual assault, has affected her ability to earn income as a reality star.

“Listen, she says it herself. ‘How am I gonna work now?’ Basically what happened with the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip has halted her career and she needs to make money. So I think that’s what that’s all about honestly,” Kyle admitted on the March 27 episode of Let’s Talk Off-Camera with Kelly Ripa. “I don’t think she can blame the show for drinking. I mean, her book is called Drinking and Tweeting. That’s her brand. That’s who she is, so I don’t know.”

“I think she’s just angry and hurt. She’s someone who’s like, ‘How am I gonna make money now?’ Her main source of income was doing these reality shows,” she added.

During a recent episode of Buying Beverly Hills, which began filming as RHOBH season 13 came to an end, Kyle was seen discussing her split from Mauricio w ith her daughters, Farrah Aldjufrie, 35, Alexia Umansky, 27, Sophia Umansky, 24, and Portia Umansky, 16, apologizing for seemingly blindsiding them with the news. However, she clarified to Kelly that conversations had been ongoing.

“People thought that we just blindsided our girls, but obviously it wasn’t like that. We had what we were comfortable with discussing,” she explained. “Did I want to do that? Absolutely not, but I’m on a show. I signed up for this. If I hear that one more time, I’m gonna rip every last hair on my head.”

Kyle also said that because she discussed the breakup on Buying Beverly Hills, she had to do the same on RHOBH, which meant going back into production on the show after filming had wrapped.

“They can’t have that story on Netflix and not with Bravo that’s been following me for 13 years… [So] the camera went back up,“ she revealed.

Following her split from Mauricio, Kyle said she’s been approached by both men and women, which is potentially due to her alleged secret romance with gal pal Morgan Wade, 29.

“I have random people, yes. I have men and women messaging me now. It’s just so funny. It didn’t use to be like that,” she noted.

Also on the podcast, Kyle shared her dream castmate with Kelly.

“I have a new one that I think, but she lives in New York but maybe she would move. I’m scared I’m going to mispronounce her name, but I think it’s kind of fitting for the situation. Hilaria Baldwin,” she revealed. “I saw them in New York, I don’t know it was a couple of years, and I said something about it then. And then he said, ‘Oh I’m living in New York.’”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 is expected to begin filming sometime in April.
