Lauren Goodger did not find love on Married at First Sight season 17 but she did find other relationships and there is more to catch up on with her. Lauren was matched by the Married at First Sight experts with Orion Martzloff. Lauren had never been in a relationship with anyone outside of her race, and Orion is proud of his Native American heritage. When the two met at the altar, there was instant attraction, and they had a cute wedding night and morning. The beginning of the honeymoon also went well, with them sharing bonding moments.

However, things took a turn when Lauren made an insensitive racial joke toward Orion, and it ruined anything that they had built. Orion tried to get over the remark but was even more soured by Lauren after she said she had sex with someone just a few months prior. Lauren and Orion had several big blow-ups after that that they couldn’t work through. Upon returning from the honeymoon, Orion asked Lauren for a divorce. After that, they tried being cordial and potentially friends, but Orion had no follow-through according to Lauren.

Lauren said she had no desire to be in Orion’s life and called him out for using the Married at First Sight platform to showcase his Native American culture.

Orion said Lauren was lying and she maintained her convictions and had a nasty attitude throughout the Reunion.

The main positive thing that came out of Married at First Sight season 17 with Lauren was her connection to the other women of the season, excluding Chloe Brown. Lauren teamed up with Emily Balch, Clare Kerr, and Becca Haley, and the foursome grew the closest in the wake of their failed marriages. Each of the women was bitter and held resentment, but banded together to support each other in trying to call their exes out for allegedly being manipulative clout chasers.

At the Reunion, Lauren wore pink along with the other three ladies, and they came for their exes. Not only that, but they endeavored to have each other’s backs and call out Clare’s ex Cameron Frazer’s plan to control the optics of the season by pushing certain narratives. Lauren and the other women did not take accountability for their parts in the dissolution of their marriages and tried to make their exes look bad. The four women claim to build each other help and help one another work through their problems.

After the Reunion, the “Where Are They Now?” special was filmed, which only a few months after the Reunion filmed. Lauren showcased that she was still bitter towards Orion by calling him “Oliar” to Clare. When Clare asked about Lauren’s love life, she was very smiley but also very vague and didn’t give any information away. She and Clare also met up with Chloe’s ex, Michael Shiakallis, on a different occasion and he brought up the idea of him and Lauren dating.

“The internet has been willing this,” Michael said.

Lauren and Michael were very flirty at their hang out and neither said anything to give away whether they tried dating. In a video diary, Lauren said she and Chloe were no longer friends after she added Michael on Instagram and Chloe became “irate.” It’s unknown whether Lauren and Michael went out, but Chloe seemed to think she had Michael on a leash when she said Lauren should know where Michael’s loyalty lay.
