Jeremy Madix isn’t sold on his sister Ariana Madix‘s boyfriend, Daniel Wai.

Following the sharing of a sneak peek at next week’s finale episode for Vanderpump Rules season 11, which featured Lala Kent, 33, raising questions about the 40-year-old trainer’s intentions, Jeremy weighed in with a comment, praising Lala for voicing her concerns.

“How old are you, Dan? Have you ever been married? When was your last relationship? How come that one ended?” Lala asked amid a group lunch.

And after Daniel revealed he’s never been married, and that his last relationship ended “probably five, six years ago,” Lala’s questions continued with inquiries about his career.

“So I train seven days a week but I bartend Friday [and] I double-shifts on Saturday,” Daniel explained, confirming his training is his “main focus.”

“Do you want kids, Dan?” Lala asked.

“I think I do,” he replied.

Meanwhile, in a cast confessional, Lala explained her concerns.

“Dan is handling this interrogation like a champ. He’s not breaking a sweat. But I will be damned if another person comes into this group dating someone and they end up being an a**hole. We’re asking all the questions now. ‘What are your intentions? Why are you here?’” she stated.

Following the sharing of the sneak peek, Jeremy reacted with a comment, as seen in a screenshot posted by Bye Wig Hello Drama on Instagram.

“After everything that happened I’m side-eyeing EVERYBODY. Lala is being protective of Ariana by asking all the right questions,” he wrote.

As Pump Rules fans may have heard, things have been strained between Jeremy and Ariana in recent months, with Jeremy accusing Ariana of making “microaggressive gestures” toward his fiancée, Rachael, in March.

“That’s what’s led to me not talking to my sister,” Jeremy told Us Weekly. “It’s been going on for quite some time. I think that we’ve just been kind of letting it pass, because of course I’m always going to have my sister’s back. But I was put in a position where [do] I choose my sister, or do I choose the person I’m going to spend the rest of my life with?”

Vanderpump Rules season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
