Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint at more ups and downs in the storyline involving Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) death. In recent episodes it’s clear that Red is very much alive and looking to frame Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for her murder, but could a plot twist change the course of this arc?
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – This Storyline Goes Against The Phyllis Summers’ Character
Y&R spoilers hint that Jeremy Starks (James Hyde) could be heading out of Genoa City, soon. After all, the plan he concocted has been rolled out to perfection. He runs out of town with half of Phyllis’s fortune as she’s “dead” and it won’t be long before Jenkins is in prison for Red’s murder. The two have set things up, flawlessly.
Fans know that Phyllis has been looking to nail Diane ever since she returned to town. Things have boiled over the past few months as every attempt Red made to bring Jenkins down blew up in her face. Now, Diane is living in the Abbott mansion, engaged to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and before Phyllis “died” even her own kids turned against her.
With that said, would Summers really stoop to Diane’s level by faking her own death? While Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) weren’t talking to their mom before the bicentennial gala, how could she move forward and hurt them to this extent, all in the name of revenge? While scheming and plot isn’t against Phyllis’s character, leaving her kids and pursuing another life with them thinking she’s dead, is.
Y&R Spoilers – There’s Got To Be A Major Plot Twist On The Horizon
After seeing Phyllis in that hotel room, it seems as if this storyline is cut and dry. Phyllis reached her breaking point, made an awful deal with Jeremy, and is now second-guessing her decision; in typical Red fashion, she’s once again crossed a proverbial line that she may not be able to come back from.
But could there be a plot twist on the horizon? Could she have made a secret deal with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to bring Jeremy or Diane (or both) down? Perhaps, she ends up “saving” Jenkins before she’s jailed? But would that erase all the trauma she’s caused?
