Phyllis wasn’t the only one shocked when she learned Michael would no longer be representing her. Viewers hadn’t gotten any Y&R spoilers suggesting their favorite defense attorney would be leaving town without so much as a wave goodbye or a kiss for his wife, Lauren.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation
His replacement, Heather (Vail Bloom), claimed it was because he had to take off at the last minute to rescue mom Gloria (Judith Chapman) from her latest scam, this time in Singapore. But it was all too out of the blue. There’s got to be more to Michael’s (Christian Le Blanc) story. And we think we know what!
Y&R: Remember When
Eons ago (was it before the pandemic, so hard to keep track of the lost years), Gloria was passing through Genoa City. She was staying with her younger son, Kevin (Greg Rikaart), daughter-in-law Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), and pretending to take an interest in her grandchildren, Bella and Miles.
But what she really seemed in town to do, was hide…something…in the Chancellor house, where Kevin and Chloe were then living with Chloe’s mom, Esther (Kate Linder). It was somehow connected to Jabot…we think. Corporate espionage….maybe. It was really unclear.
Y&R Spoilers: That Was Then, This Is Now
Kevin, Chloe, Bella, and Miles don’t even live there anymore. And Gloria hasn’t been back in Genoa City since. But could it be that her proverbial chickens have finally come home to roost? And that’s what Michael is off to rescue her from?
And is the reason he’s playing his cards so close to the vest, not even letting Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) know what he’s up to, because Gloria has run afoul of her ex-stepson — and friend with benefits, Jack (Peter Bergman)? We bet Gloria’s latest jam involves stealing from Jabot. And if Jack finds out, Gloria could be in even bigger trouble. Because now it’s personal. Michael needs to extricate her before anyone else finds out. And that’s even more important than Phyllis’s freedom. Think this speculation could really come true?
