Do we really need Y&R spoilers to tell us that Nick will start whining and growling about being forced to return to Newman Enterprises sooner rather than later? Has this course of action ever worked out for him?
Y&R Spoilers Speculation
Has his returning to Newman ever not ended with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victor (Eric Braeden) butting heads and Victor accusing Nick of being a bad son, a disloyal ingrate, and a terrible father who shouldn’t be allowed to raise Victor’s precious grandson? What makes anyone think we’re not in for yet another ride on this merry-go-round?
You’re My Only Hope
Sure, Nick always loves to hear how Victor can’t trust Adam (Mark Grossman), and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is too distracted by her own personal drama, so Nick is the only one who can ride in on his Dark Horse (see what we did there?) and save the day. But that high never ever lasts.
The Good Soldier
Any time Nick has stepped into Newman Enterprises in times of crisis, he’s done it with a stiff upper lip and the air of a martyr. And he’s insisted that everyone acknowledge what a good boy he is being. The moment Nick doesn’t feel appreciated, it’s tantrum time! He and Victor have always had that in common.
The Windmills of Your Mind
Victor has just spent weeks pretending to be losing his mental acuity, only to turn around and yell, “Gotcha! I am actually more brilliant than ever!” Well, if he really is the smartest person in the room, then he should be the first to know that Nick coming back to Newman will never, ever work. Prove how with it you are, Victor. Prove why having Nick complain about the agony of being given millions of dollars and then stomp off in a huff is actually good for Newman Enterprises and the family. Or else we are really going to believe you’ve lost your mind. For real.
