Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Ashley Uses Summer In Her War For Jabot

Y&R spoilers point to the war between Ashley and Jack heating up, even as their personal lives risk breaking down. Jack just found out that Kyle is leaving Jabot because he doesn’t want to work with Summer at Marchetti.

Y&R Spoilers Speculation

Meanwhile, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is engaged to a guy who let her down lots of times before. She says she’s in love. But we suspect it’s all just part of her plan to get Jabot away from Jack (Peter Bergman). Because he has the gall to become engaged to Diane (Susan Walters). A woman Ashley does not like.

Since Ashley has made it clear she will do absolutely anything to keep Diane away from Jack – and out of Jabot, her next step should be to lure Summer (Allison Lanier) over to her side.

Young & Restless: Common Ground

To start with, Ashley will not need to explain or convince Summer why Diane is the absolute worst and should be stopped at all costs. Summer already knows, thanks to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Summer blames Diane for everything that has happened to her mother. She’ll be happy to work with Ashley to bring that evil woman down — and away from Jack, Kyle (Michael Mealor), and Harrison (Kellen Enriquez).

Y&R Spoilers: Save the Cat

Summer is keeping her job at Marchetti, the company Jack bought her and Kyle to play with. And, Marchetti is still a part of Jabot. This means Summer is perfectly positioned to be Ashley’s inside man…er, woman. She can spy on Jack and on Diane, and report to Ashley. She can make Diane look bad. Kind of like what Phyllis was doing back in the day. She can be carrying her mother’s banner.

All’s Fair in Y&R Love and War

Is Ashley going too far? Is she taking advantage of poor, dumb, deluded Summer the same way Phyllis is taking advantage of her? Of course, she is! But if Phyllis was willing to gaslight her own daughter in the fight against Diane, then surely Ashley can use her ex-niece-in-law to protect the company John Abbott worked so hard for.
