Y&R spoilers recently showed that Elena had her heart broken. Interestingly, she confided in, of all people, Nick. Sure, it was under the premise of quitting her podcasting job. And their conversation led to Nick proclaiming his love for Sally. But we saw something else amidst the soul-baring.

Y&R Spoilers Speculation

We saw a flash of chemistry with these two. And some definite potential. We could see Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) ending up the couple that comes out of both these relationship messes.

Young and the Restless: Short Term

Let’s face it: Nick may have finally decided to do Sally (Courtney Hope) a favor and tell her he loves her…as Sally told Adam (Mark Grossman), he must let her go. But we all know this is just a smoke screen. On both their parts.Sally and Adam are endgame. And not only because they’re about to welcome a daughter. They’re endgame because they are the One True Pairing. Nick will get kicked to the curb sooner or later. And Elena would be an interesting option to pick up the pieces.

Y&R Spoilers: Family Dinner

Sure, Elena is a nice person, and after Sally and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Nick is due for a nice girl who isn’t Sharon (Sharon Case) for a change. But what would make this couple most intriguing is that Elena’s ex, Nate (Sean Dominic), seems to be getting deeper and deeper into a relationship with Nick’s sister, Victoria (Amelia Heinle)…the woman Nate initially cheated on Elena with. This could make for some awkward and drama-filled family interactions with the Newmans.

Young and the Restless: Father’s Verdict

Victor (Eric Braeden) doesn’t like the wedge Sally is driving between his sons. How will he feel when Nate and Elena sow dissension in the sibling ranks? Will Victor finally have to admit which child he prefers? The family drama here is even more interesting than the romantic one! Will Y&R go for it? Is this something you’d like to see?
