Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Also, in the episode, Lauren consoles Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Sharon warns Adam that she won’t let his vendetta ruin things. Nikki realizes that Audra and Nate are up to something, and Victoria puts a stop to any merger talk. Now, let’s dig deeper into what happened.

Young and the Restless: Phyllis Throws A Party

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Summer (Allison Lanier) received a text from their mom asking to meet in the park. The disgruntled siblings felt like Phyllis probably wanted to scheme other ways to stay out of prison. Daniel noticed his sister seemed better, and she said she’d found a way to move forward. The siblings decided they were through with their mom’s insanity. They decided to meet up with her, mostly to tell her just that.

Meanwhile, Phyllis had a big celebratory meal set up in the park, and Lauren (Tracy Bregman) showed up. She congratulated Phyllis on the outcome of her plea deal and noted that Michael was still out of town helping Gloria. Phyllis thanked Lauren for her friendship, and Lauren reassured her that she and Michael would always be Team Phyllis.

Summer and Daniel arrived, and they weren’t so sure what their mom had to celebrate. Phyllis let them know that the charges against them were dropped, that she pled guilty like they wanted, and the judge showed her leniency. Neither Daniel nor Summer was overly excited, which irked Phyllis.

Summer wondered if Carson’s testimony was even legitimate, and Phyllis said it didn’t even matter anymore. Ultimately, Daniel and Summer told their mom that they were done with her craziness despite Lauren asking them to give Phyllis a chance. When they left, Lauren consoled her dear friend. Daniel and Summer had a drink together at the GCAC and swore off their mom.

Young and the Restless Recap: A Warning

Nate (Sean Dominic) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) talked in her suite. She was excited about the merger, but Nate warned her not to overstep. He said he was out of Audra’s plan if things went sideways. The two wondered what else Adam might be willing to take instead of the merger.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Adam (Mark Grossman) discussed office space, and she asked if he’d thought of a new name for Adustus. He mentioned Newman Media, and Sharon was incensed. She didn’t appreciate Adam putting her in a tough spot.

Audra walked in, and Adam let Sharon know Victor might have a change of heart, which made her suspicious of what he had planned. Adam and Audra went to the patio to talk, and he let her know he was running out of patience when her update wasn’t what he wanted to hear.

When Adam returned to their table, Sharon asked why he was talking to Audra, and he played it off. Sharon didn’t buy it, though, and said she wasn’t going to allow his vendetta to derail her. Adam did his best to reassure her.

Y&R Recap: Suspicions

At Newman Enterprises, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) talked about Nate’s merger suggestion. Nikki felt Nate’s pushing for it was a power play, and Victoria agreed, but she was pleased that her boyfriend was thinking of the company’s future.

Nate showed up, and Nikki got a text from Audra wanting to meet. After Nikki left, Nate and Victoria discussed the merger, and she let him know it wasn’t in the cards at the moment. Nate accepted Victoria’s decision.

At the GCAC, Nikki wasted little time reminding Audra that she broke Noah’s heart, so Audra apologized. Ultimately, Nikki wanted to know what Audra wanted. Audra mentioned Adam pushing the merger, but Nikki said her stepson didn’t always get what he wanted.

Audra wanted reassurance that she wouldn’t be redundant should the companies merge because she knew there would be overlap in positions. Nikki picked up on Audra sounding just like Nate, and she asked her about it. Audra denied it, but Nikki wasn’t convinced.

Back at the office, Nikki ran into Nate in the hallway, and she let him know that Audra sounded just like him. She thought that wasn’t a coincidence. However, Nate reassured Nikki that the whole idea was dead in the water now. In Victoria’s office, Nikki let her daughter know she thought Audra and Nate were up to something.

As for Nate, he found Audra in her suite and berated her for talking to Nikki. He said he’d handle this his own way. Audra said, “I’m screwed” when she realized the merger was off.
