Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Adam (Mark Grossman) and Sally catch up after Chloe declines to work at Newman Enterprises. Plus, Christine offers Phyllis a deal, and Phyllis blackmails Tucker. Finally, Nikki lets Nate know precisely where he stands with her. Now let’s dig deeper into what happened.

Young and the Restless: Key Information

Adam showed up at Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) hotel room. She demanded to know what he had for her, and Adam had something huge.Since he had access to McCall’s information, he found details that Tucker and Audra had covered up a major recording star who slept with underage girls. Whoa! What’s worse is they kept it secret until after the tour.

Later, Phyllis ran into Christine (Lauralee Bell). Chris offered to give Phyllis a deal. She’d drop the potential charges against Summer if Phyllis entered a guilty plea and accepted her sentence with no trial. Phyllis warned the District Attorney to stay out of it, and she expressed her confidence that she’d win her trial.

At Society, Phyllis met with Tucker (Trevor St. John). He didn’t realize she had the upper hand until Phyllis revealed she knew about the statutory rape cover-up. Tucker tried to play dumb, but Phyllis spilled what she knew, and he realized the jig was up. Phyllis offered to keep it under wraps if he let her and Heather have Carson.

Young and the Restless Recap: A Path Forward

At Crimson Lights, Sally (Courtney Hope) excitedly told Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) all about Victor’s new job offer. Chloe shocked Sally by being absolutely against it. She felt Victor must have an ulterior motive. Sally tried to plead her case, but Chloe refused to budge since she didn’t want Victor to ever have any control over her again.

Later, when Adam came along as Sally sat in the park contemplating what to do next, they spoke about the situation. Adam warned Sally that his father usually did have ulterior motives. However, he liked that she had some of her spark back and agreed that Sally could get a job from Victor with her own merits.

Adam turned the talk to Nick being out of town for business, and Sally admitted it had helped her even though she missed him. She appreciated being able to remember how to rely on herself to move forward. She also let him know she’d donated their daughter’s things, which made her feel good to help somebody else. Adam shut down a bit at that and didn’t want to talk about it. Sally held his hand and offered to talk if or when he was ready.

Y&R Recap: On Notice

At Newman Enterprises, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) refused to let Nate (Sean Dominic) flatter her — she found it unbecoming. She also let Nate know that the house always wins at Newman, so she was on her guard with him since Nick didn’t trust him. After some back and forth, she invited him to lunch at the GCAC. Once there, Nikki flat-out asked Nate what he wanted — he responded by saying all he wanted was to run Newman with Victoria. She wondered if he loved Victoria as Elena (Brytni Sarpy) eavesdropped.

After some prying, Nate admitted he didn’t love Victoria, but he thought he could fall in love with her if they continued things romantically. Nikki took a call, and Nate tried to talk to Elena. However, the scorned ex-lover told him to stop trying to act civil because she wasn’t interested in it. She warned him that she might be the one to light the fire to burn his life down to the ground. Nikki returned, and she pointed out that Nate had ruined Elena’s life and, before that, Amanda’s. She told her daughter’s boyfriend that if he treated Victoria the same way, he’d have an enemy in her. However, Nikki also told him she’d be his best friend if Nate treated Victoria right.
