Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Audra told Tucker that Kyle had second thoughts. Daniel informed Jill and Lily about Mamie and Tucker’s alliance. Nikki escaped her room, but Claire subdued her. Later, Nikki thought she saw Victor. Nick and Adam tried to talk Victoria into staying at Newman Enterprises, and Victor told her he didn’t respect her anymore. Now let’s dig deeper into what happened.

Kyle Must Confess

At the Abbott mansion, Kyle (Michael Mealor) told Diane (Susan Walters) to get a drink and sit down. He explained to her that he’d very nearly sold out his dad and Jabot to Tucker and Audra. Diane understood and reassured Kyle that he was okay, and in fact, she was proud of him. He wanted to tell his dad, but Diane advised him to take advantage of Audra to find out what she and Tucker were planning.

At the GCAC, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) told Tucker (Trevor St. John) to get a drink and join her. She told him that Kyle grew a conscience, but Tucker wasn’t surprised. In fact, he already knew that’s what Kyle would do, and Audra didn’t appreciate him not cluing her in. He even predicted that Kyle would confess to his parents and then come back as a Trojan Horse.

At Lily’s (Christel Khalil), Jill (Jess Walton) complimented her redecorating. After small talk, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) walked in and told her about Tucker and Mamie teaming up over Chancellor-Winters. Jill wasn’t pleased to hear it. After Jill left, Daniel advised Lily not to tell Devon about the situation, but she felt she needed to tell him.

Later, Jill interrupted Tucker and Audra’s discussion of Kyle. Audra left, and Jill got straight to business. She wanted to know his plans with Mamie and Chancellor-Winters. Of course, Tucker wasn’t interested in telling her his plan.

Nikki Newman Is Trapped

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) managed to find some scissors and used them to pick the lock in her room. She carefully made her way downstairs and tried to leave, but Claire (Hayley Erin) saw her and plunged a needle into her neck.

Nikki asked what she wanted. However, Claire said she wasn’t going to spoil the surprise until everybody else showed up. She ranted about how awful the Newman family was, and as Nikki passed out, she warned Claire to stay away from her family. Claire texted somebody that she needed their help after Nikki’s near escape.

In bed, Nikki saw Victor walk in smiling. He urged her to be quiet and told Nikki that he was going to get her out of there and that everything would be okay. She woke up with an IV in her hand and saw a doll with a bloody tear sitting on her bed. Nikki threw it away in disgust.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

At the jazz club, Nick (Joshua Morrow) tried to talk Victoria (Amelia Heinle) into returning to Newman. However, she told him she wouldn’t. Both older siblings said rude things about Adam (Mark Grossman), and he called them out on their hypocrisy, noting he could achieve world peace and they’d still suspect his motives.

Victoria wasted little time in going to see Victor (Eric Braeden) at the office. She complained that he was going to hire Adam, and he told her that she had terrible taste in men and always combined her personal and professional lives. In the end, Victor yelled that Victoria had nothing without him.

As Victor told Victoria he no longer respected her, Nick showed up. Victoria yelled that perhaps she would just lose it — watch out, world! She went to the jazz club and sat with a drink at the bar. Nick went to Crimson Lights looking for Sharon.
