Young and the Restless: Happier Times
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) finished telling Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about Adam’s blackmail. Victor immediately called Adam (Mark Grossman), demanding he come to the ranch. Audra pleaded Nate’s case, and she apologized. Victor demanded Audra tell them everything, so she explained what happened at McCall.
As Adam left, Sally (Courtney Hope) showed up with a housewarming gift. Adam explained that he was summoned to the ranch, and Sally wanted to join him to accept the job offer in person. Adam talked her out of it and offered to let Sally stay at his place until he returned.
At the ranch, Adam showed up, and he realized Audra had told them everything. Adam didn’t deny it, and he wasn’t sorry. Victor thanked Audra for coming forward, and she left. On her way out, Audra texted Kyle to meet her.
Victor berated Adam for going behind his back, but Adam said he was a chip off the old block. Nikki yelled at Adam that she knew he wouldn’t change. Victor told Adam he couldn’t keep dealing with Adam’s defiance, and he said he wouldn’t fire him because he’d just secured financial backing for the company. “You’re hanging by a thread,” Victor warned.
Nikki wondered how much longer Victor would put up with Adam’s outrageous behavior. Victor said he thought he got through to Adam, but Nikki wasn’t so sure. “When it comes to Adam, enough is never enough,” she said.
Back at Adam’s, Sally looked through a box Adam hadn’t unpacked, and she found several snapshots of them together. She ordered takeout, and Adam was surprised to see Sally had stayed when he got back home. She guessed things didn’t go well with Victor.
Adam noticed Sally unpacked some of his boxes and thanked her. She showed Adam the snapshots she found, and she couldn’t believe he’d held onto them. “I wanted to remind myself that once, whether I deserved it or not, I was happy, and I didn’t want to forget what that felt like,” Adam said.
Young and the Restless Recap: Coming Clean
At the GCAC, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) called out Nate (Sean Dominic) on his scheme with Audra. She wanted him to lay his cards on the table. He confessed they’d discussed it, but Nate didn’t tell Victoria the whole truth about Adam. Victoria wanted to know what Nate wasn’t telling her. He ultimately confessed that Adam was blackmailing Audra.
Victoria wasn’t surprised, and she wanted to know how serious the whole thing was. Nate asked Victoria not to be too hard on Audra. Ultimately, Nate pointed out the problem was Adam, and he suggested that Victoria push her brother off the cliff.
Audra returned to the GCAC, and she ran into Victoria and Nate. Victoria insisted they meet in the morning to discuss things, and Nate revealed he’d told Victoria the truth. Audra said she’d come clean with Victor and Nikki too. Kyle showed up at Audra’s room, and she let him know his plan had been genius.
Y&R Recap: Wedding Night
Jack (Peter Bergman) gave Ashley (Eileen Davidson) everything she wanted (except for her original patents), including a buyout of Jabot. He called it a wedding gift, but Ashley didn’t seem grateful. Jack wondered what changed, and Ashley said her attitude.
Tucker (Trevor St. John) stepped in and accepted the gift, hoping to return to celebrate their wedding. Kyle (Michael Mealor) walked out, and Diane (Susan Walters) tried to talk him into staying…for the sake of the family. He declined and left to meet Audra after barely being there.
Ultimately, Ashley apologized and accepted the gift. Billy (Jason Thompson) jumped in with snide remarks about Diane. Tucker yelled at everyone to shut up and let them enjoy their evening. Devon (Bryton James) and Traci (Beth Maitland) stepped in. Ultimately, Jack and Diane left despite Abby (Melissa Ordway) asking him to stay. Billy and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) also left.
Back at home, Jack and Diane discussed the evening, and Traci walked in and shamed her brother for the way he’d acted. Traci wondered why Jack would think Ashley would trust him. She also called out Jack for having Billy wrapped up in his scheme, and she didn’t like them ripping the family apart again.
At Crimson Lights, Billy apologized to Chelsea for the family meltdown. Chelsea admitted that Billy’s performance was what upset her the most. She didn’t like seeing Billy like that. He promised it was just an act.
Tucker and Ashley enjoyed their wedding night at a suite in the GCAC. They exchanged “I love you” even though Ashley couldn’t believe she was saying it. The newlyweds danced and kissed.
