The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, September 2, find three separate characters making three different decisions to make three different plans come to fruition.
Knowledge Isn’t Power
Nate (Sean Dominic) figured out that Victor (Eric Braeden) was the money (and the power) behind Glissade, and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) more or less confirmed it. Here’s the problem with Nate: He’s smart. Very smart. But he’s not quite as smart as he thinks he is.
This makes him make dumb decisions after dumb decisions. He did it with Billy (Jason Thompson), Devon (Bryton James), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and now Victor. Because Victor isn’t Billy, Devon, or Victoria. He isn’t just going to frown at Nate. He’s going to make sure Nate never has a chance to make another bad decision…as far as Victor is concerned.
I Know What You Did Last Week
You know what’s wrong with Billy? Billy is dumb. Billy is very dumb. Billy is so dumb that he doesn’t even realize how dumb he is, and he thinks he’s smart enough to outsmart Lily (Christel Khalil).
But Lily is onto him — thanks to Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) version of a history lesson and a quasi-seance with Katherine (Jeanne Cooper). So now Lily knows what she needs to do. And Billy is too dumb to see it coming.
He Yelled/She Whined
Speaking of Billy being dumb, he kept pushing and pushing Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) until she confessed to sleeping with Adam (Mark Grossman). Billy then promptly went running over to Adam and Sally’s (Courtney Hope) to rub it in Sally’s face.
Adam eventually confessed. And now he blames Chelsea for the mess. We kind of don’t blame him. They agreed to keep it a secret. Chelsea blabbed. If she’d kept quiet, neither of them would be having romantic problems now. Yeah…this is on Chelsea.
