Victor also lets Victoria know she does not fool him. Billy goes off on Jack for promoting Diane without talking to anybody else. Ashley sarcastically congratulates Diane while Audra and Kyle (Michael Mealor) get to know each other far more intimately. Now let’s dig deeper into what happened.
Young and the Restless: Victor Gives Warnings
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) seemed to resent Victor (Eric Braeden) once again, questioning her decision to force Nick to take a leave of absence. Even worse, she especially didn’t appreciate her dad’s pointed questions about Nate (Sean Dominic). Victor refused to allow Victoria to skate on that easily, though, and he accused his daughter of letting her personal relationship with Nate color her business decisions.
Later, Victor dismissed Victoria when Nate awkwardly interrupted with some new bourbon for his boss/lover. Victor invited Nate to pour him a drink instead, and Nate promised to do an excellent job for Newman Enterprises. Victor wasted no time warning Nate that he’d have an enemy should he try to grab power. Victor left, and Nate and Victoria celebrated that they’d won him over. However, it wasn’t all that clear that Victor really trusted Nate.
Young and the Restless Recap: Repercussions
Billy (Jason Thompson) yelled at Jack (Peter Bergman) about promoting Diane (Susan Walters) to a C-Suite position without consulting anyone. He blamed his brother for launching a missile at their sister, causing an all-out war. Billy insisted that Ashley was hellbent on turning the Jabot board against him.
Meanwhile, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) saw the press release announcing Diane’s promotion online. She ran into Diane at GCAC and snarkily congratulated Jack’s fiancée on getting her promotion. Ashley teased that she had new plans, which would surprise Diane, but Diane wasn’t convinced. Later, she and Jack wondered about what Ashley was doing with the board, but they ultimately decided to talk about their wedding.
At the Abbott mansion, Ashley let Billy know that she wasn’t in a tizzy over Jack hiring Diane without consulting them. She told Billy she did have something positive up her sleeve, but Ashley wasn’t willing to discuss it just yet.
Y&R Recap: Hello, There
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) flirted a lot over drinks at the jazz club. They exchanged wild sex stories, engaging in some one-upping. It wasn’t too long before Kyle said he wanted to see a few of Audra’s moves, so they danced a bit.
After, Audra went upstairs, and Kyle slowly followed her a bit later. Jack happened to notice Kyle heading up, and he didn’t seem too happy about it. He and Diane hoped that maybe a night apart would help repair Kyle and Summer’s marriage. Upstairs, Kyle and Audra wasted no time in removing their clothes and getting more personal with each other.
