DAYS spoilers kept hinting that Sarah and Xander may put their animosity aside and reunite for Victoria’s sake. But any time it looked close to happening, Sarah would find out something else Xander was about to do to win custody, and fly off the handle. Could it be that Xander has either run out of surprises, or Sarah has finally gotten enough of a grip that they’ll find a way to become a family — just in time for ornaments to go up on the Horton family tree?
DAYS Spoilers Speculation: It’s Always Something
Sarah (Linsay Godfrey) seemed really confused about how custody trials worked. She assumed Xander (Paul Tefler) going to court to demand access to Victoria would consist of him asking nicely, and not, in any way, suggesting that he might be a better parent than Sarah.
Every time Sarah heard of yet another Xander tactic, such as bringing up her past lying to Eric (Greg Vaughan) about baby Mickey’s paternity, or asking Eric and Brady (Eric Martsolf) to testify about it, any progress she and Xander had just made went out the window. What are the odds that she’s finally over that?
We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together
And even if Sarah finally chills out over that, well, the odds are equally low that Xander will manage to stay out of trouble for the long haul. She’s already forgiven him so much, including literal crimes like baby-switching and kidnapping. The next thing he does, even if it’s jay-walking, could be the thing that finally convinces Sarah that she and Xander don’t have a future together.
Love Will See Us Through Till Something Better Comes Along
But then, history has shown us, that Sarah will eventually forgive Xander that, too. It sure would be nice, if only for Victoria’s sake, if she spirals through all her emotions by the time Christmas comes, so their little angel can have a nice first holiday with both her parents, her grandma…and the creepy Greek guy who staged her kidnapping, then pretended to rescue her. Just one, big happy family!
