Lani came back with Eli Grant to Days of our Lives to help look for clues regarding her dad’s disappearance. She joined husband Eli on the case. But they’d just gotten started when he got word he was being reassigned. It looks like they will be leaving town. But is that really a good idea? We could use the dual detectives back in Salem full-time, And here are three reasons why.
Days of our Lives: Back to Basics
Eli’s (Lamon Archey) last name may be Grant, and his dad’s last name may have been Banning, and his grandmother’s name might be Williams, but, let’s not forget, Eli is actually a Horton. There aren’t a lot of them left in Salem, especially of this generation.
Will (Chandler Massey) and Allie (Lindsay Arnold) are in New Zealand. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is in Greece, sitting at Bo’s (Peter Reckell) bedside, and their son, Shawn (Brandon Beemer), is busy climbing into a bottle. Their daughter Ciara (Victoria Konofal) is sailing the seven seas, with her family. Eli might be one of our final chances for Horton representation.
Lani and Eli Grant: Mind Full
Rafe (Galen Gering) and Jada (Elia Cantu) aren’t making much headway in unraveling the Abe (James Reynolds) mystery. Maybe Lani (Sal Stowers) is the fresh set of eyes they’ve been missing. She can take a look at what they’ve collected so far and offer her perspective. We know Rafe and Jada care about Abe, but Lani actually loves him. She’s more motivated than anyone else on the force to find her dad.
Young DAYS Love
Eli and Lani have already overcome hardships like losing their firstborn son, and then being separated by Lani’s jail term. What we’re saying is, they’ve been through the wringer and come out stronger for it. They’re exactly the kind of couple Salem needs to remind the audience that love really does conquer all.
