Days of our Lives is famous for bad boys and girls like Stefano DiMera, Ernesto Toscano, Megan DiMera, and Kristen DiMera. (Hey, one family really does seem to be overly represented, doesn’t it?) But of those currently walking the streets of Salem, who is the worst of the worst? Or is that the best of the worst? Why not both?
Gone But Not Forgotten
Stefano (Joseph Mascolo), Megan (Miranda Wilson), and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk, who talked about the Daytime Emmys here) may have died and come back from the dead more than the average person. (Since, for the average person, that number is: zero.) But how many of them have ever buried someone alive? No, keeping a presumed dead person in a coma doesn’t count. That’s a picnic compared to what one Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) did to Carly (Crystal Chappell). Which means that there is nothing — nothing — any villain could ever do that would make them worse than that. Salem could use Vivian about now.
Greek Warrior
Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) was a pretty bad guy once upon a time, too. And now that he’s gone, a blast from his past is here to pick up the slack. Konstantin (John Kapelos) learned how to be a bad guy from Victor. And now he is using all the tricks he picked up from his childhood friend to torture Steve (Stephen Nichols) and John (Drake Hogestyn). The men of Black Patch claim they want to protect poor, defenseless Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) from Konstantin. But maybe what they really want to do is protect themselves — from Konstantin.
No Holds Barred
Vivian was driven out of Salem. That stopped her reign of terror. Konstantin is in Salem. And so far all he has managed to do is score some free meals from Maggie. Which is why the worst dude on the canvas now is Clyde (James Read). The smooth talker is in jail, for Pete’s sake. And he’s causing more havoc than anyone else. That’s how you do bad, boys and girls!
