Which The Young And The Restless Couple Will Reunite First?

We’re not seeing a lot of new love on The Young and the Restless. But we are seeing a lot of flames we’d thought had flickered out, suddenly showing signs of life. So, which couple might reunite before the end of 2023?

Young and the Restless: Old Habits Die Hard

How many times have Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Allison Lanier) broken up — only to find their way back to each other again? More times than we can count. And that’s saying a lot for a pair we saw born on-screen. Sure, Kyle says it’s over now. But Summer — and we — know better.

New Year, New Me

Now that Chance (Conner Floyd) is no longer a cop, one of the key issues in his marriage with Abby (Melissa Ordway) has been resolved. Sure, she cheated on him with Devon (Bryton James). But remember when Sharon’s (Sharon Case) guy, Scott, cheated on Sharon with Abby? Yeah. Abby likes taking Sharon’s men away from her. Here’s one more for her to try.

Nothing Better To Do

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is too busy for Nate (Sean Dominic) at the moment. And Elena (Brytni Sarpy) has no life outside of the hospital. We can see them drifting back towards each other out of sheer inertia. Maybe Elena can bring Nate back to his senses. Or, maybe Nate can convince her to become as awful as he is now.

Grown Ups

We just saw a flashback of Tucker (Trevor St. John) shrieking like an unhinged banshee at Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Yet we’re supposed to think that not only does he still have feelings for him, but she still has feelings for him! We don’t see it. We don’t get it. But we wouldn’t be surprised if the show went there. Again.

Meant To Be

The only reunion that makes any sense right now is Adam (Mark Grossman) and Sally (Courtney Hope). He made it clear that he’d never stopped loving her. And we know she never stopped loving him. So stop pretending otherwise, and just admit it to each other. Ally in 2024! They will surely be the first couple to reunite either before or after the new year.
