Which Eligible Married At First Sight Cast Members Should Be Paired Up Together? (There Could Be Spinoff Potential)

There are several eligible Married at First Sight alums that would go better together than they did with their original partners, and that could leave room for a potential spinoff. Married at First Sight premiered in 2014 and has 17 seasons behind it. Married at First Sight season 18 has finished filming and is in the final stages of the editing process, with fans likely to see its premiere in Fall 2024. There have been some notable personalities to come on the show, and many of them didn’t find love during the Married at First Sight process.

In the 17 seasons of the show, only 12 couples are still together. There have been 64 couples total. That leaves the MAFS success rate at 18.75%. However, the couples that have stayed together and live in happy and healthy marriages are great models and inspiration for future seasons. Unfortuneately, Married at First Sight season 17 totally bombed, with none of the couples staying together and the show encountering its first-ever runaway bride siutation. That said, there are plenty of eligible former cast members who would make better matches were they to be paired together in a spinoff.

Shaquille Dillon & Jasmine Secrest
They Would Have Worked Out Better

Jasmine and Shaquille were both part of Married at First Sight season 16 in Nashville, Tennessee. Shaquille was paired with Kirsten Grimes while Jasmine got married to Airris Williams. They both experienced issues forming strong connections with their spouses over issues of attraction and committment to the process. Online, speculation swirled that Shaquille and Jasmine should have been matched all along because their personalities blended better.

Jasmine and Shaquille would have made for a better couple also because they were both emotionally available.

Jasmine came off as more independent than Airris, and Shaquille’s busy lifestyle as an educator was also a top priority for him. They were also more of each other’s types.

Clint Webb & Emily Balch
They Could Keep Each Other Entertained

Clint was part of the MAFS season 16 Nasvhille cast as well, and he was matched with Gina Micheletti. Gina and Clint made it clear to one another that they were not each other’s types, and though they tried to make things work, neither put in enough effort after the loss of attraction. Emily was in MAFS season 17 in Denver and struggled with her husband Brennan Shoykhet’s unattraction to her.

Brennan was Emily’s first dating experience (via ET,) so now she might be ready for a more seasoned man like Clint. Clint, an avid sailing yachter, has an extreme love of travel and also does well for himself financially. Emily is equally as passionate about traveling and is prideful in her work life. Emily also has a different figure than Gina, which Clint might be more attracted to.

Mark Maher & Krysten Collins
They Would Have Appreciated Each Other

Mark married Lindsey Georgoulis in Married at First Sight season 14 in Boston. Lindsey felt Mark didn’t check all her boxes and also thought he wasn’t assertive enough in the bedroom. Krysten married Mitch Silverstein in MAFS season 15 in San Diego. Mitch wasn’t attracted to Krysten because she liked makeup, and that issue caused the pair to disconnect.

Krysten has a fun, warm, and bubbly personality in a way that was much different than Lindsey. Lindsey would put Mark down, while Krysten has a demeanor that would try to lift someone up.

Mark needs a more nuturing personality and someone who would appreciate him, like Krysten could.

Krysten’s outgoing personality could also complement Mark’s more reserved nature.

Alyssa Ellman & Mackinley Gilbert
They Are Each Other’s Types

Alyssa famously thought of herself as a “good person,” but did not show that at all in her short marriage to Chris Collette in MAFS season 15. Alyssa didn’t like Chris’ teeth and would not give him a chance in the slightest. She wanted a manly man cowboy. Mackinley “Mac” married Domynique Kloss in season 16, but Domynique bailed quickly on the marriage because she thought Mac wasn’t adventurous enough. Mac and Alyssa could be a good potential match because they seem to be each other’s types, and Mac could take a backseat to Alyssa needy personality.

Lauren Goodger & Michael Shiakallis
They Seemed To Have A Spark

Lauren was paired with Orion Martzloff in MAFS season 17. And while the couple had instant chemistry and aligned on a lot of things, they lost sight of their connection after Lauren made an inappropriate racist joke. From there, the couple spiraled and by the end of the season, Lauren had nothing but disdain for Orion for his lack of follow through and early tap out.

Michael was in Lauren’s season, and was the victim of the runaway bride, causing him to have an unprecedented second match with Chloe Brown. Michael and Chloe seemed great together, but Michael ultimately realized that he was going to be able to give Chloe everything she wanted in a partner. He also said he wasn’t ready for marriage.

The internet “willed” Lauren and Michael to get together, and the pair did not deny the possibility when they met up after the season ended. However, things took a turn when Chloe and Lauren had a major rift over Chloe not wanting Lauren to get at Michael (via Access Hollywood.) Now that a lot of time has gone by since season 17 ended, Michael may now be ready to give another partner all of his committment. Lauren and Michael’s mature natures would go well together, and they could be an entertaining couple to watch.

Jasmina Outar & Miles Williams
They Have Similar Personalities

Jasmina married Michael Morency in MAFS season 15, but Jasmina grew tired of Michael’s aloof communication style. They said yes on Decision Day, but didn’t last long after. Miles was in MAFS season 11 in New Orleans and he married Karen Landry. The pair ended up together after Decision Day but sadly split in 2023. Miles and Jasmina both have refined personalities which could pair well together. They are both distinguished individuals and both have demonstrated their ability to be good communicators.

Would A MAFS Spinoff Pairing Former Cast Do Well?
It Could Give Hopefuls Another Chance

Married at First Sight is missing any kind of spinoffs. It did have MAFS: Unmatchables, which only ran for one season, but the concept wasn’t on the right scale.

Having the potential couples from this list give the process a go with specialized coaching and mentoring from the experts could be very entertaining.

Married at First Sight could expand with an “Another Chance” spinoff, and it could give these memorable cast members another shot at love, but they would have to work out the distance factor in most pairings.
