Lindy Elloway had a memorable appearance on Married at First Sight season 15, and it’s time for an update on her life. Lindy was matched by the season’s panel of experts, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Cal Roberson, and Dr. Pia Holec. They paired her with Miguel Santiago-Medina in Married at First Sight season 15, which took place in San Diego, California. Aside from Lindy and Miguel, season 15 featured four other couples: Alexis Williams and Justin Hall, Morgan Bell and Binh Trinh, Stacia Karcher and Nate Barnes, and Mitch Silverstein and Krysten Collins.
The season aired from July 2022 to November 2022 and featured 19 episodes, including two Reunion episodes. Unfortunately, none of the San Diego couples have stayed together, giving the season a 0% success rate. The show’s failure rate among the couples contributed to Married at First Sight’s low success rate of 18.75% over 17 seasons. In season 15, Morgan and Binh were the first to break up, while Mitch and Krysten were the only pair to make it to Decision Day and say no. Miguel Had An Attitude Problem
In Married at First Sight season 15, Lindy was a 29-year-old physical therapist who was ready to give her all to one person. Miguel was 35 during the season and was an Associate Medical Director. Lindy and Miguel had sparks for each other right away and had a sweet wedding that left both of them smitten. During the honeymoon, Lindy and Miguel seemed like the most compatible couple and solidified their connection more. However, things changed once they started living together and had to open up to each other about difficult but necessary topics.
Miguel was very miffed that Lindy was not keen to give up her last name and take his, while Lindy was upset that Miguel was reluctant to put her on his health insurance. Those issues seemed minimal compared to the larger communication issues they encountered. During the MAFS season 15 couples’ retreat, Lindy and Miguel’s problems were front and center, and they seemed like the most mismatched pair of the group. In one famous scene from that weekend, Lindy was excited to take pictures for the “Prom Night” theme they were having later.
Miguel had formed a massive attitude about Lindy’s picture-taking which became even more prominent after Lindy asked the producer to take a picture for her and not Miguel. Lindy thought she didn’t want to bother Miguel with her request, but Miguel grew upset that Lindy didn’t understand that he was not in the mood for her picture-taking desires in the first place (via Lifetime.) He wanted Lindy to be more in tune with his feelings and be able to read him better.
“It feels like I’m misunderstood and that’s the issue,” Miguel complained.
Lindy called Miguel a gaslighter for the way he was speaking down to her. The communication breakdown about the photos was an indication of how different the duo’s communication styles were. Their rift grew even wider as the weekend went on. Lindy was criticized by MAFS viewers for sacrificing her own happiness and desires to try and please Miguel while Miguel was chastised for treating Lindy poorly. In the end, however, Lindy and Miguel said yes to each other on Decision Day after weighing the qualities they liked in each other versus what they didn’t like. But Lindy and Miguel’s marriage only lasted just over a year, as the pair divorced in February 2023.

Since their breakup, Lindy and Miguel do not follow each other on Instagram. The former couple live totally separate lives and are very happy without one another. Miguel has stayed true to his nerd persona, had spinal surgery, and taken accountability for his mistreatment of Lindy, especially on the prom night.

In MAFS season 15, Lindy spoke about being passionate about her job in physical therapy as well as the student loan debt her career choice landed her.
These days, Lindy seems to have abandoned the work and money she put into being a successful physical therapist and changed careers entirely.
On Instagram, Lindy has proudly highlighted that she is now a flight attendant. Lindy does still mention that she is a Doctor of Physical Therapy in her IG bio, but she seems to be excited about her career change.

Lindy even has a lot of content traveling with her fellow female cast mates from the season.

Lindy has formed a tight friendship with Alexis, Stacia, and Kyrsten. Over the last few years, they all have shared many posts traveling and all getting together to flex. Morgan is the only Married at First Sight season 15 bride to be left of the girls’ trips, but she was standoffish with the women throughout the experience and also left the show earlier on in the season.
Lindy appears to be thriving since appearing on Married at First Sight season 15. She has her tight friendships with her lady cast mates and seems happy with her huge career change.
