Scheana Shay revealed to her fans that her 2009 Nissan had been stolen from ‘outside her house’ in a video shared to her Instagram stories on Friday.
The Vanderpump Rules star, 39 – who has been supporting her close pal Brittany Cartwright amid her divorce from Jax Taylor – could be seen sitting inside a studio as she opened up about the recent incident.
The TV personality explained that her vehicle of 15 years had been stolen after parking it directly in front of the house she shares with husband, Brock Davies, and their daughter Summer Moon, three.
‘Move to the [San Fernando] Valley, they say. Great place to raise a family, good school districts. And then, um, your car gets stolen from right outside of your house, right here, on the street.’
Shay admitted, ‘Yes, I should’ve had it parked behind the nice, new security gate my husband built.’
‘But yesterday, we got a good spot right in front, broad daylight, trash cans were in the driveway.’
Scheana further explained, ‘And just didn’t think we needed to pull it in last night ’cause it’s right there, it’s right out front.’
However, earlier on Friday morning, upon leaving the house, the reality star had discovered her car was no longer there and described the scene.
‘And this morning, we went out. It was not out front, glass broken everywhere,’ the mother-of-one said.
‘So, if you see a [Nissan] 370Z with a busted window driving around the Valley, um, let me know. This is my first baby. My car I’ve had for 15 years and now it’s gone.’
Towards the bottom of the reel, Shay included an image of her black Nissan that was parked on a street, as well as the aftermath of the theft.
In a second clip uploaded to her Instagram stories, Scheana responded to suggestions that she take a look at security camera footage.
‘And of course, everyone’s asked like, check your cameras. We have the cameras, we have all of that.’
‘But the camera perimeter ended right at the end of the sidewalk, right before the street,’ Shay continued. ‘So, it helps if someone’s on the property.’
‘But right there, the perimeter cut off so, checking our hardwired cameras now because those go out a little further.’
In conclusion, the Vanderpump Rules star added, ‘But, um, not a great start to my Friday. Not a great start.’
After finding her car missing, Scheana went to report the incident at a Los Angeles Police Department station, which was confirmed to TMZ by law enforcement.
The car was put into the system as stolen, and an investigation is now being conducted, per the outlet.
Earlier this year in March, Scheana jumped to her main Instagram page to reveal that she and her family were moving to the San Fernando Valley.
At the time, the media personality shared snippets from the big move with the help from Roadway Moving.
She showed the movers taking boxes and loading them away in a large truck, and the star also filmed herself in the empty house before officially leaving.
In the caption, Shay penned to her fans and followers, ‘Saying bye to the west side, but hellllo to the valley! Moving day made easy with @roadwaymoving.’
Not long after the move, Scheana spoke with BravoTV.com and opened up about how her daughter, Summer Moon, was adjusting to their new home in the Valley.
While backstage at the Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion that was filmed back in March, Shay gushed, ‘Summer Moon is thriving.’
‘We just moved into a new house in the Valley [and] she has taken over the whole upstairs corner, she’s got her playroom, her bedroom…she’s doing really well.’
And in late March, she gave her fans a glimpse at the new abode as she snapped a mirror selfie wearing a dark navy, one-piece from Maidenform.
She wrote in the caption of the snaps, ‘Walking around my new house in nothing but @maidenform,’ followed by a white heart emoji.
The 12th season of Vanderpump Rules is slated to commence production sometime this fall – after part three of the season 11 reunion aired in May.
