Laura-Leigh claims she was bullied by Stassi Schroeder during their time working together at SUR Restaurant over a decade ago.
While reflecting on her time starring in the debut season of Vanderpump Rules in 2013, Laura-Leigh, 33, who went on to star in television dramas and films, including The Client List and We’re the Millers, opened up about how she was treated by Stassi, 36, suggesting that she was berated by her former co-star.
“I would have shifts where Stassi and her little crew would come in and spill drinks on me or send me hate letters through like the cooks or [say], ‘Come sit in my section’ just to berate me during my shifts,” Laura-Leigh claimed on the January episode of Vanderpump Rules Party Podcast, via Page Six. “These things that were so wrong.”
As Pump Rules fans will recall, Stassi was dating Jax Taylor, 45, when the show began airing. After they split, Jax enjoyed a short-lived romance with Laura-Leigh, who left the show after season one to pursue her acting career.
Looking back at season one and her interaction with her castmates, Laura-Leigh said she suspected Stassi and some of the other women were mistreating her “for the show.” However, at the time, the bullying she endured “felt very real.”
During one particular moment, Stassi lashed out at Laura-Leigh, who is a recovering addict, by suggesting she had stolen her medication. But it wasn’t Laura-Leigh who had allegedly taken the medicine. Instead, it was Jax.
Years after Laura-Leigh left the show, Stassi and Kristen Doute, 41, were fired for racially insensitive behavior toward Faith Stowers, who they accused of potentially being involved in a crime she was not a part of. Since then, Stassi has taken a step back from the spotlight, choosing to instead focus on her writing career, her marriage to Beau Clark, 45, and her two children, three-year-old daughter Hartford and one-year-old son Messer.
As for Jax and Kristen, they went on to star in The Valley, whose second season is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year.
