Vanderpump Rules is returning to Bravo for a 12th season, but the current season 11 cast will not be a part of it.

Following months of rumors regarding the future of the series, it has been confirmed that Lisa Vanderpump, 64, and a new group of “close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors” will be featured on the upcoming episodes.

“What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all over again,” executive producer Alex Baskin said in a statement on Tuesday, via Us Weekly. “With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can’t wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together.”

According to the report, filming on Pump Rules season 12 will begin sometime next year, and an air date will be shared at a later time.

“The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between,” Lisa said in a statement of her own. “I can’t thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.”

TMZ also shared a report in regard to the news, noting that the original cast was informed of the decision on Monday night and wasn’t too surprised by the news.

The outlet also revealed that the OGs of the show would be given “other avenues” to explore within the Bravo/NBC universe and that Scheana Shay, 39, Brock Davies, and Lala Kent, 34, would be featured on the upcoming second season of The Valley, which stars Jax Taylor, 45, Brittany Cartwright, 35, and Kristen Doute, 41.

Additionally, viewers will be treated to a goodbye special, of sorts, in which they will get to see the last of the Pump Rules cast members in a program set to air ahead of the newbies’ debut on season 12.

Shortly after the announcement, Lala put out a statement on Instagram bidding farewell to the show.

“I was a young girl from Salt Lake City who made her way to L.A. I would introduce myself as Lauren, but because my childhood best friend referred to me as Lala, my nickname quickly stuck. Sur was a place that became home… It still to this day is the most intimidating job I’ve ever had,” wrote Lala.

She continued, “A short time later the opportunity to be on a show called Vanderpump Rules landed in front of me. I have such mixed feelings right now. It’s no secret I do not like change. This is the exception. I want to say thank you for rocking with us for so many years. This show changed my whole life. I’m unbelievably grateful for every moment. I’m unbelievably grateful for Bravo, for NBCU, for our crew, the entire cast, and most importantly all of you. We rocked this b-tch until the wheels fell off 💃.”
