Ariana Madix received both backlash and support as she announced her 100th performance as Roxie Hart in Broadway’s Chicago on Instagram on Friday.

As she also confirmed whether her contract would be renewed for a third time and spoke of her “last week” with the show, the 39-year-old Vanderpump Rules star reacted to backlash from her online critics and support from her castmates, including James Kennedy, 32, and Ally Lewber, 28.

“Tonight I hit 100 shows at [Chicago] and I’m counting my blessings because I can’t believe I get to do this [eight] times a week,” Ariana wrote on August 12. “Thank you everyone [I’m] lucky enough to share the ambassador theater with and thank you to every one of you who has come to see the show … Love you, [Roxie Hart]. It sure is heaven, nowadays.”

Following the sharing of her reflective post, Ariana was met with haters, one of whom sent a vomiting-face emoji.

“Unfollow me,” she told the person.

Then, when another person said, “I have no desire to see your show,” Ariana shared, “I don’t think the longest running musical on Broadway will be upset that you aren’t coming.”

A third person was far more kind, stating, “They’ll extend your contract.”

“We did that! [I] can’t extend again this time,” Ariana revealed.

Ariana was also dealt with sweet messages from Pump Rules cast members.

“So amazing and very proud … This is incredible, here’s to another 100!” James wrote.

“Congratulations on 100 incredible shows! I couldn’t be more proud, you own that stage!” shared Katie.

Ariana’s boyfriend of about a year-and-a-half, Daniel Wai, also spoke out, saying, “To another hundred more!!!”

And despite saying she can’t extend her contract, Ariana admitted, “You know [I] would!”

“Congratulations, Ariana! What an accomplishment. Our Broadway star!!” added Ally.

Also on Instagram over the weekend, Ariana was seen announcing her final moments on Broadway in a joint post with the official page of Chicago.

“It’s our final week with [Ariana Madix],” Chicago wrote in the caption of its video post.

And in the video, Ariana said, “Hey guys, it’s my last week in Chicago. So please, come make sure you see me. I’m here until September 1. And after that, who knows? So, it’s your last chance.”

Vanderpump Rules is currently on hiatus ahead of its 12th season.
