“Vanderpump Rules” alum James Kennedy was arrested for domestic violence Tuesday night.
Police in Burbank, Calif., were dispatched to a residence at about 11:30 p.m. for an argument between a man and a woman, whose identity was not disclosed, Page Six can confirm.
According to TMZ, an eyewitness told officers they saw Kennedy grab the woman at one point during the dispute. However, police reportedly did not see any injuries on her.
Burbank Police told us that Kennedy, 32, was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence and has since been released on $20,000 bail.
Although it’s unclear who the alleged victim is, Kennedy has been in a long-term relationship with Ally Lewber, 28.
The night of Kennedy’s arrest, the couple was seen mingling and having fun at Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party.
Page Six has reached out to Kennedy and Lewber’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back. The DJ has not addressed the incident on social media, either.
Lewber, for her part, posted several Instagram Stories on Wednesday as she attended a holiday influencer event. Her boyfriend, who has a history of substance abuse, did not appear to be with her for the outing.
Kennedy began dating Lewber in 2022. Just a few months before, he had ended his engagement with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, who went on to have a highly publicized affair with Tom Sandoval.
Although the Bravo star and astrology enthusiast appeared happy in their new relationship, they have been plagued by domestic violence rumors.
Fellow Bravolebrities Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge allegedly witnessed the couple get into a “physical altercation” following an MTV Movie Awards afterparty.
“That never happened. There was no physical altercation,” Lewber claimed on her former co-star Scheana Shay’s “Scheananigans” podcast in February.
“Yes, we were in the car together. I thought we were having fun. We were having fun. But then James and I did get into an argument, but there was no physical assault.”
Kennedy’s latest assault allegations come after Bravo announced they are recasting “Vanderpump Rules” and that the British DJ and his castmates, who helped make the show a hit, won’t be back.
