This Grey’S Anatomy Character Must Be The Worst Wife Of All Time (But We Still Love Her)

It’s hard to juggle a career with the family. If there’s one thing Grey’s Anatomy is definitely not for, it’s relationship advice. Although the characters’ love lives are very eventful and full, they break all the rules of healthy and honest communication and often enough end up in situations you wouldn’t want to find yourself in real life.

What is somewhat realistic is the fact that people who deserve it the least end up with the best partners. Most charismatic, dependable, and loyal men seem to end up with women who are the absolute worst in marriage. Miranda Bailey, however, is at the top of the list for worst of all.

Throughout the series, we have watched this couple develop, and all along, Bailey has been downright horrible to her now-husband Ben. Not only does she confuse their personal relationship with work, which to be honest is a flaw in any Grey’s Anatomy relationship, but she doesn’t seem to care about his feelings at all.

No matter what Ben wants, Bailey refuses to support him. When he wanted to continue his medical career and become a surgeon, she called him childish. When he expressed his desire to have a noble job like being a firefighter, she kept berating him. It seems that Bailey was always looking for an advantage for… well, Bailey, in his decisions.

And when there wasn’t one, poor Ben ended up being treated very unfairly by the person who was supposed to be there for him through thick and thin.
Many fans believe that this is a general Grey’s Anatomy writing problem that has nothing to do with this couple specifically. No matter how much drama is going on in the show and how much chaos the audience has to endure, the writers strive to add more instead of keeping at least one relationship happy and healthy.

If you want to see what Grey’s Anatomy’s Anniversary season 20 will bring for Miranda and Ben as a family, be sure to keep an eye out for news and updates from ABC. As of today, the release has been pushed to mid-season due to the ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes, but the situation could still change.
