The folks in Salem on Days of our Lives are used to a few things that perhaps other towns across the soap universe don’t really encounter. But which of those things is the show in need of right now?

Soap Hub gave viewers a list of things to choose from that we often see in Salem that perhaps could jump-start some action on the show. Here is how your voting sorted things out.
DOOL: The Devil You Know
Apparently, less than 1% have any interest in the Devil making a return visit to this tiny town in anywhere USA. Perhaps that’s why he only seems to wreak havoc once every 20 years. This last time left you traumatized, and while it may have been fun for a short time, you’re not wanting him to darken Salem’s doorstep again anytime soon.
Days of our Lives: Bring On The Crazy
Another thing Salem is known for, more in recent times at least, is wacky and campy storylines, but only 4% feel the need to see more of these on their screen. For this percentage, folks like Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) need to be the main course…not the spice added to the meal.
DAYS: All In The Family
What 43% do want is more family like the Hortons and the Bradys. They’ve gotten a little small in number lately, and you need to see more of them brought back to add to their ranks. They need to balance the overwhelming number of DiMeras, who aren’t always on the side of goodness.
Days of our Lives: Hurricane Sami
But, over half of you, at 52%, say that what Salem needs now is Sami Brady to spin back into town and stir things up. Her twin Eric (Greg Vaughan) has been going through a lot, her mom was thought dead and kidnapped by a madwoman, her sister Belle (Martha Madison) is suffering through Shawn’s (Brandon Beemer) downward spiral, and frankly, Johnny (Carson Boatman) could use his mother set him on the right (or wrong frankly) path to shake things up.
