The Young and the Restless Update: Monday, April 24 – Chelsea & Billy Sizzle in Bed – Tucker Asks Audra to Run Away Together
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, April 24, teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will deal with a flood of phone calls regarding Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) ordeal, but he’ll just keep telling all the news outlets “no comment.”
After Billy texts Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and offers to bring dinner later, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will complain to him about Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) completely shutting down.
Once Kyle mentions Summer staying in a guest room, Billy will urge him to fix things before the distance becomes a chasm.
Although Summer needs space, Billy will think Kyle should make her understand that he’ll be waiting for her with open arms.
Meanwhile, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will have another Diane-related argument with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), so Kyle will seem fed up with all the bickering when he comes home.
Once Kyle heads upstairs, he’ll call out to Summer in her room and insist he’s not going anywhere.
Kyle will note that they don’t have to talk, but he’ll still want to hold Summer and will beg her to open the door.
Back down with Jack, he’ll defend Diane since she’s been wrongfully accused of Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) murder.
Ashley will think the cops got it right and will act like Jack’s going to drag the entire Abbott clan down if he marries that woman.
Jack will insist that once Diane is released, she’s coming home to the Abbott house.
If Ashley can’t handle that and get a grip on her bitterness, Jack will urge her to move out.
Ashley will be sick of Jack trying to kick her out of her own home and will insist she’s not going anywhere.
Instead, Ashley will urge Jack to find a house near the prison and prepare for the board to throw him out of Jabot.
After Ashley suggests Jack can have his nice little jailhouse wedding, she’ll snap that Diane will cost him everything that ever mattered to him.
At the jazz lounge, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will push Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to sign the paperwork for the sale of McCall Unlimited. Tucker will want to look over the contract one last time, but he’ll give his word that he’ll sign it soon.
After Victor leaves, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will find Tucker at the bar, so they’ll reminisce about the past and flirt a bit.
Tucker will ask Audra to come up to his suite, where he’ll ultimately push her to blow this town with him.
Once Tucker asks Audra to leave Genoa City with him and be his right hand again, she’ll mention her job and argue that she actually likes it there.
Tucker will think Audra is pushing him away like all the others in search of greener pastures that usually don’t exist.
Audra will call Tucker out for never really changing, so he’ll think this was a mistake and urge her to go.
On her way out, Audra will urge Tucker not to wallow in misery for too long since no one will care when he comes back.
After Tucker is alone on Monday’s Y&R episode, he’ll sign the paperwork for the sale to Victor and look disheartened.
After Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) wakes up startled after a bad dream, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will offer comfort in bed next to him.
Daniel will suggest they can pretend what happened last night didn’t happen if Lily wants, but she won’t want to take it back.
Although Lily will be happy to help Daniel find solace, she’ll also want him to focus on taking care of himself as he grieves.
At Society, Billy will run into Daniel and Lily while he’s picking up takeout, so there’ll be a little awkwardness before he leaves to join Chelsea.
Even so, Lily will tell Daniel that she’s not one to wallow when it comes to past relationships and will suggest that if she’s meant to be friends with Billy, she will be.
At Crimson Lights, Billy will meet up with Chelsea and offer updates on his encounter with Daniel and Lily.
After Billy admits he picked up on a romantic vibe, he’ll be relieved Lily is moving on since she deserves more than he could give her.
