Spoilers for The Young and the Restless (Y&R) indicate that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at the ranch and share his concerns.
In the June 3 episode of Y&R, Nick will see Victor and discuss some Newman family problems; therefore, Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) mental health crisis will be discussed.
Victor will consider Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) amazing advancements after acknowledging that he worries for both Adam and Connor.
Even Nick will acknowledge that his belief that progress was unachievable was incorrect.
This Connor situation has been a tough blow, but at least it’s given Adam a chance to step up and show that he’s capable of change.
Adam has become less reckless in recent months, so we’ve seen a more rational version of the character who’s able to be more in control of his emotions.
Unfortunately, Victor will worry the positive changes in Adam won’t last.
The whole Connor ordeal will give Victor some good reasons to fear Adam’s progress will be undone as his son’s issues take a toll.
“Yeah, well, I’m afraid this could crush him again, you know? Lead him back into darkness,” Victor will confess as he offers an ominous hint about Adam’s future.
Of course, Nick will pipe up to insist that he thinks Victor is wrong and that Adam will emerge from this crisis as a stronger man.
However, Nick will also give Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) a lot of the credit for helping Adam with his transformation.
If Adam loses Sally at some point, he could fall apart without that stability in his life.
That could indeed be enough to send Adam back to the sinister side.
After all, Victor knows his kids awfully well and has a knack for being right about this sort of thing.
It might hint at a new plot prediction because one could claim that Victor’s dialogue clue is the first indication that something is wrong.
