The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get increasingly fed up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who’ll continue to defend his relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
After Nick confesses his love for Sally, he may relay that news to Victor and act like things are getting serious now.
Of course, Victor will think Nick needs to get out of this romance before the baby comes and changes everything.
Perhaps Victor will argue that Sally will inevitably drift back in Adam’s direction once their daughter arrives.
Nick honestly doesn’t think that’s going to happen, so he might shut down Victor’s prediction and act like the baby won’t affect Sally’s feelings toward Adam at all.
However, Y&R spoilers say Victor will see an opportunity to teach Nick a heartbreaking lesson during the week of May 15-19.
Since Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will be celebrating their wedding anniversary, it seems Sally will volunteer to watch Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) to get some baby experience.
That’ll give Adam a chance to pop up at Crimson Lights at the exact same time.
It looks like Sally and Adam will gush over the baby together, so Victor might spot this cozy little scene and decide Nick needs to see it, too.
Maybe that’ll tie in with this lesson Victor wants to teach if he summons Nick to the coffeehouse ASAP. Victor might know exactly what Nick’s going to walk in on when he shows up.
This could lead to Nick witnessing a glimpse of Adam and Sally’s happy future.
It’s easy to imagine Nick scowling as Sally and Adam laugh over some cute moment with Aria – just like they’ll be doing with their own little girl down the road.
For the first time, Nick might actually see the potential for Sally to reunite with Adam because of the bundle of joy they’re bringing into the world.
Having a baby together is a big deal, so Nick needs to stop pretending it won’t affect things.
Since Nick’s going to be moving into Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) storyline soon, this could be the first sign of him exiting the love triangle with Adam and Sally.
Although Nick may cling to the idea of his own blissful future with Sally, he may ultimately step aside for an “Ally” reunion at some point.
