According to spoilers for The Young and the Restless (Y&R), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will make an admission that causes Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to feel terrible for a variety of reasons. Sally won’t be able to respond when Nick says that he is falling in love with her even more.
Sally will say that although she does love Nick, it’s not quite the same as being IN love with him. Sally will beg for patience and insist that ultimately she will be able to express her thoughts, even if she won’t be ready to go that far with Nick just yet.
Nick has, of course, been accommodating regarding that and will probably reassure Sally that he is more than willing to wait. Nick being gracious about the delay will probably only make Sally feel worse because she is also holding a significant secret.
Nick will notice Sally’s contemplativeness as they are having a romantic picnic in the park. Nick will be perplexed by Sally’s apparent loss of focus and nudge her to be honest with him.
Sally will simply not be able to get over the kiss Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) planted on her, despite her best efforts. Sally will have a sexy dream that included another deep lip lock with Adam, which will make her guilt even worse, and she will realize she can’t handle it any longer.
Once Nick puts her on the spot by asking her to confide in him, Sally will blurt out the shocking truth. Y&R spoilers say Sally will come clean about Adam kissing her and explain how he dove in for one when he dropped her off at her door.
Of course, that should bring additional questions about why Adam was even taking Sally back to her room. Sally may admit she invited Adam to dinner, so it might sound like she led him on from Nick’s perspective.
Nick may insist it’s a mistake to try and be friends with Adam since he’s always going to read more into it. Since Sally continually seems to end up back in Adam’s orbit, it makes sense that part of Nick could worry if she wants more than just friendship.
According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Nick will eventually lose it because of the stress in his relationship with Adam. Nick appears to be about to lose his cool, which can make Sally fear that she’ll lose him.
Nick might not express his rage to that extent, but he will at least give Sally the impression that she has seriously harmed their relationship. Nevertheless, Sally will feel the need to inform Nick of the knowledge of the prohibited kiss and deal with the aftermath.
