According to The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers, Chelsea Lawson’s Melissa Claire Egan has finished her maternity leave and will soon make a significant return to Genoa City. Let’s discuss some encouraging news because many fans have been wondering when Egan would take over Chelsea’s job again.
Egan responded to a fan on X, the social networking site that replaced Twitter, when they mentioned how much they missed Chelsea and assured them that the wait wouldn’t last long.
“Soon! A few more weeks;) Already shot my first episode back,” Melissa Claire Egan confirmed. Of course, that led to several Y&R watchers sharing how happy they were about Chelsea Lawson’s homecoming.

Since Anita Lawson’s (Catherine Bach) residence is close to this school, Chelsea made the decision that they would relocate there for the duration of the adjustment time.
