The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) won’t be able to keep what he knows about Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) survival a secret. His mother, Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) freedom depends on it, because she is charged with her murder-Kyle will tell her what he knows!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Argued Over The News
Kyle had argued over the unbelievable news that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) had brought to himself, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Daniel said he had seen his mother alive and talked to her, and that she had been forced by Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to participate in the death scam. Kyle, Jack and Michael were all blindsided and Kyle argued that Diane and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) needed to know right away!
But Daniel didn’t want it divulged out of protection for his mother and sister-although Summer does already know, he didn’t want her to find out he told! As for Diane, she came downstairs as the three were still talking, to quickly hushed responses!
Y & R Spoilers – What Do You Mean, I’m Not Going To Prison?
When Diane came downstairs, she gave her condolences to Daniel on his and Summer’s mother’s death, and Daniel blurted out she wasn’t going to prison. Diane was happy-it gave her hope, and Kyle couldn’t just let that go without an explanation, even though apparently his dad thought he should. Jack just kept the rest of what they heard from Daniel a secret, not wanting apparently to give Diane false hope, the same reason given for keeping it secret from Summer. It had been a one time, random thing and Daniel has no idea where Phyllis is except she’s in hiding and he has no clue where.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Comes Clean
Kyle comes clean to Diane, although he decides to wait with Summer, having no idea that Daniel got his information from Summer in the first place. Kyle tells his mother everything he knows, and although she’s shocked at Phyllis’ survival, she’s not surprised she’s in hiding-Diane knew what Stark was capable of. Stark forcing Phyllis into faking her death and killing him in self-defense doesn’t surprise Diane a bit-in that situation, Diane probably would have done the same thing.
But they need to keep things somewhat quiet because Michael needs hard evidence proving Phyllis is alive before they can use it to exonerate Diane. But, at least, there is a real reason to hope, and now she knows Daniel wasn’t just blowing smoke off the top of his head!
