The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 21, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have a power battle coming up.
Now that Billy has rejoined Jabot, he’ll end up getting under Kyle’s skin and facing off with him.
Of course, Kyle is under a ton of stress since Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has been arrested for Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) murder.
Despite Kyle’s belief that Diane couldn’t have possibly committed the crime, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is equally certain that Diane is guilty.
That’s left Kyle caught between the two women he loves most, so he’s already on edge.
Kyle probably feels like Marchetti is the one thing he can control right now, so he’ll fume if Billy dares to overstep and micromanage.
Billy may be in charge of Jabot while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) focuses on getting Diane out of her latest legal jam.
That could leave Billy feeling like he has something to prove, but Kyle won’t appreciate it if his uncle bosses him around.
Kyle might even feel like it’s too soon for Billy to handle co-CEO duties without Jack and try to make a power grab of his own.
History has proven that Kyle and Billy don’t work well together, so Y&R will stick with that theme and leave them stuck in a major showdown on Friday’s exciting episode.
Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will find Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and deliver a desperate plea on Diane’s behalf.
We’ll see Michael make a bold move for Diane’s sake as he works to get the charges against her thrown out.
Next, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will get some surprising news when they enter Society with Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle).
Y&R fans know Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) suggested having a baby shower for Tessa and Mariah, so Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) happily agreed to hold it at her restaurant.
The guest list will include Sharon, Abby, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and anyone else who’s willing to come celebrate Mariah and Tessa’s adorable family.
Tessa and Mariah will marvel over the cute decorations and open gifts as they embrace their new motherhood adventure, so this party will bring some memorable moments.
