The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could find herself in need of a good lawyer soon. The plan was to fake her death and start fresh with a new identity, but Phyllis quickly realized she’d made a big mistake.
Once Phyllis saw how much pain Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) were in, she tried to renege on the deal and faced Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) violent wrath.
Phyllis fought back when Jeremy launched a scissors attack, but what happens now that she’s killed Stark in self-defense?
This seems like a doomed situation that could result in major legal drama for Phyllis.
Despite Phyllis’ attempt to dispose of the body and cover her tracks, this whole plan has been a disaster and may result in her being taken into police custody eventually.
Phyllis may struggle to get quality legal representation once everything blows up in her face.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) may turn his back on Phyllis, especially since she framed Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
It’s easy to imagine Phyllis begging for forgiveness and pleading with Michael to be her attorney, but he may insist she’s on her own.
In that case, who’s going to represent Phyllis if she goes on trial for all her crimes?
Phyllis may wind up getting accused of Jeremy’s murder on top of everything else, so she’s going to need an excellent lawyer to step up for her.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has never lost a case and is a close friend, but even she may have her doubts about representing Phyllis under the circumstances.
Nevertheless, someone has to come through for Phyllis in the end – and it might as well be Amanda.
Will Phyllis ultimately make a desperate SOS call and shock Amanda with the news that she’s alive?
Amanda may get updates on the whole truth and face a dilemma when it comes to whether she’ll defend Phyllis against some serious charges.
However, this would be a great opportunity for Amanda to get back in the action for a bit.
Mishael Morgan is willing to do brief Y&R return stints, so why not have her reprise her role as Amanda Sinclair if Phyllis heads to court?
