According to The Young and the Restless (Y&R) teasers, Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) new guy act may truly work this time to get him what he wants. Fans of Y&R are aware that Adam was preoccupied with Newman Media for a while, but this was only because he was denied his true heart’s desire: the position of CEO at Newman Enterprises.
Adam has been crowned by Victor previously, but it never seems to stay. Adam merely has the carrot held out to him before it is ultimately torn away. However, that could change now that Adam’s impressing Victor with his willingness to start at the bottom.
Regardless of his hidden agenda, Adam is acting in the right way and saying the right things. Even if all of this is part of Adam’s revenge plan, he might be persuaded to abandon it if his alterations end up being successful.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will battle against being promoted to co-CEO of Victor’s company and attempt to convince her father that he is no longer qualified to lead Newman Enterprises.
Victor is returning to work and intends to make improvements at the company he founded because he is only semi-retired. According to Victor, things feel disjointed at Newman, so he plans to do something about that by reclaiming the throne like this.
Victoria will try to challenge Victor’s spot and make him see that taking back the reins himself was a mistake. Victoria may or may not end up being the one Victor restores to the throne if she succeeds.
By that time, Adam might have earned the right to reclaim his position as CEO of Newman. Adam might finally receive a prize from Victor and get his wish to head Newman Enterprises.
In the future, Adam may take over as CEO from Victor, who may eventually announce his retirement from the corporation. Victoria would undoubtedly leave over a move like that, which might lead to the start of another significant Newman conflict!
Victoria has no intention of working for or even with Adam, so she’d depart Newman Enterprises altogether before she ever compromised regarding her brother.
