According to Friday, August 16 spoilers for The Young and the Restless (Y&R), Chelsea Lawson (played by Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will find themselves in yet another awkward situation as a result of Chelsea’s loose lips.
Chelsea had already given Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) cause for concern by hinting at her faults and guilt, which she wished to put behind her.
Chelsea revealed too much again, but this time she was unaware that Billy and Courtney Hope’s character, Sally Spectra, were standing just behind her.
Chelsea told Adam that she’d rather Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) focus on them being a team instead of picking up on the “tension and guilt of that one night.”
Since Sally and Billy seemingly overheard Chelsea telling Adam that, they’re going to have questions.
This will only further reinforce Billy’s belief that something unrelated to Connor went down – something troubling that Chelsea and Adam have been keeping under wraps.
Billy obviously won’t want to say anything upsetting in front of Connor, but he’ll take a moment to corner Chelsea alone.
Y&R spoilers say Billy will demand answers about this “one night” and push Chelsea to just tell him the whole truth already!
At this point, it’d be ridiculous for Billy to avoid forming the obvious theory.
Anyone with a brain should be thinking Adam and Chelsea might’ve slept together in Baltimore, so will Billy flat-out ask if that’s what happened?
Whatever the case, Chelsea will have to decide whether she’s going to come clean or sell Billy a bogus story.
Adam will choose the latter with Sally, who’ll have questions of her own.
Although Adam will make excuses and fake that his relationship with Sally is fine, she may not be so sure.
The harder Adam tries to convince Sally that nothing’s wrong, the more she may fear Billy’s right to worry.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll put Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to the test.
Victor will deliver a new order that he expects Kyle and Audra to pull off together.
Will Victor confront his co-CEOs to assuage Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) fixation on the notion that Audra poses a threat to Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell)?
That’s one possibility to think about, but it’s also likely Victor wants Kyle and Audra to work on a business-related project.
Keep an eye out for Victor’s future plans, which we anticipate will eventually involve destroying the opposition!
