Married At First Sight’s most loved-up couple Paul Antoine and Carina Mirabile are about to find themselves at the centre of an explosive scandal.
The French groom is set to make a jaw-dropping confession at Wednesday night’s dinner party, sending shockwaves through the experiment.
A teaser at the end of Tuesday night’s episode showed Paul looking distressed, admitting: ‘I’m going to admit to everyone what I’ve done. I did something that I absolutely regret. It’s unacceptable, it’s disgusting, and I was hating myself for doing this.’
Now Daily Mail Australia can exclusively reveal that Paul had a violent outburst and punched a hole in the wall of their shared apartment after learning that bride Carina slept with American rapper Quavo before the experiment.
It all started during a boozy day out with his bride Carina, along with fellow couple Jeff Gobbels and Rhi Disljenkovic.
The group had spent hours drinking at Searock Grill in Sydney’s Circular Quay when Carina made a startling confession.
According to an insider, Paul did not take the news well.
‘Paul found it really disrespectful,’ the source explained.
‘We all have a past, and some people have slept around, but he was just grossed out that she had hooked up with a rapper who has probably slept with many others.’
Once back at the apartment, tensions escalated.
Carina repeatedly apologised, trying to reassure Paul that it was just a past fling, but the revelation had already sent him over the edge.
‘It was really embarrassing for him. He wanted to leave the room, but instead, he completely lost it and took his frustration out on a wall,’ the insider revealed.

However, production sources confirm that she assured them she felt safe.
‘Obviously, Carina was disappointed, but she handled it so well,’ the source added.
