Married At First Sight star Lucinda Light is set to kick off her Australian tour in January 2025 following a successful stint across the UK.
As the reality TV contestant, 43, took to Instagram on Monday to beg followers to buy her tickets, some were shocked to see she was charging almost $200 for a meet-and-greet.
Her five-day speaking tour has general admission tickets priced at $49 to $59, but fans who want to meet the marriage celebrant face-to-face will have to fork out $189.
Followers who splash cash on the pricey ticket will also be allowed front row seats to the 90 minute show, which will take place in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
As of Monday morning, tickets appear to be under-performing due to the exorbitant price, with only 24.1 per cent of Sydney tickets sold, reported Yahoo Lifestyle.
Meanwhile, 17 per cent of the Perth tickets have been bought and the front stalls section of Lucinda’s Melbourne show is currently 56 per cent sold.
Lucinda will kick off her Australian speaking tour in Perth at the Regal Hall on January 23 before jetting to Sydney for a January 25 show at City Recital Hall.
January 30 will see Lucinda perform at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne before she finishes her tour in Brisbane at the Powerhouse on February 1.
It comes after Lucinda revealed some more details about the television show she recently revealed she had been working on for Channel 4 in the UK.
On Sunday, Geordie Shore star Vicki Pattison revealed the duo will helm a brand new dating show in the Mediterranean island country of Cyprus.
During a Q&A session on Instagram, one fan asked the TV, 37, personality if she had ‘anything exciting in the pipeline.
She answered by sharing a photo of herself and Lucinda with the caption: ‘I flew to Cyprus to make a dating show for Channel 4 and E4 with this incredible human Lucinda!
‘And that will be coming out in March [next] year! Can’t wait for you guys to see it!’
Lucinda, who has cemented herself as a force to be reckoned with following her stint on MAFS this year, revealed her latest stint in TV to Daily Mail Australia last month.
Fresh off sold-out shows across the UK, Scotland, and Ireland, the TV star said she was writing a book and starring in a new television show.
‘The last six weeks have been incredible. I’ve been over in Europe shooting a television show for Channel 4 UK that I absolutely loved,’ she said.
‘The role they gave me is just so me. After that, I toured all over the UK and Ireland, connecting with people, sharing stories—it’s been a blast.’
Lucinda’s book, Shine Your Light, is set to release on March 27, but if fans were hoping that she would be spilling the beans about her time on the hit show, they’ll be disappointed.
Described as a guided journal, her new book aims to help readers deepen their emotional intelligence.
‘It’s about transforming people’s lives, equipping them emotionally, and offering tools to navigate life,’ Lucinda explained.
‘It’s been the best project, working with Harper Collins. I love writing, and I’ve got so much to share after years in the self-development field.’
On top of this, Lucinda has partnered with Intrepid Travel to host a Find Your Light: Daintree & Cape Tribulation Adventure tour.
‘We’re unplugging from devices for seven days and immersing ourselves in nature,’ she revealed.
‘There’ll be meditation, yoga, emotional intelligence talks, snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef, and nourishing local food. It’s about resetting, nourishing, and connecting.’
However, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing for Lucinda as her former MAFS co-star Timothy Smith appears to still harbour resentment.
‘Everyone asks me about him, and I always say I love Tim, my doors are open for him.’
Despite their tension, Lucinda remains hopeful for reconciliation.
‘I’ve already apologised on Instagram. I just wish him healing and peace. I miss Tim from my life, but he’s in pain, and I just hope it doesn’t keep flaring up,’ she added.
When asked if her success has sparked jealousy among her co-stars, Lucinda was quick to shut it down.
‘The cast has been fantastic [to my rise to fame]. We’re all celebrating each other,’ she said.
‘Everyone is doing their own thing—Jack Dunkley’s gym, Jayden Eynaud’s boxing, Jonathan McCullough and Ellie Dix buying a house,’ she said.
‘I feel like I’m in my niche, and I’m so grateful MAFS gave me this platform.’
When it comes to reality TV, Lucinda said she is selective but is also interested in starring on Dancing with the Stars or I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
