Lily Brooks O’Briant portrays Lucy Romalotti on The Young and the Restless, and for now, the character doesn’t have many friends her age on the canvas. However, in real-life, O’Briant has a fun friendship with a big connection to the CBS daytime drama.
The Lucy And Faith Connection
Long-time Y&R viewers know that Alyvia Alyn Lind portrayed Faith Newman on the show for years until she left in 2021 to take on the role of Lexi Cross in NBC’s television series Chucky. It looks like O’Briant and Lind are pals, though, behind the scenes. Recently Lind took to Instagram to share a fun photoshoot in a parking garage. She wrote, “photo shoots in parking garages >>>>>.” O’Briant replied, “photo shoots in park ing garages just hit hard,” adding in another comment, “I love you so much!”

Lind’s post had photos of herself alongside O’Briant and three other teens all dressed in coordinating white outfits, and they looked like they were having the time of their lives in the images, which you can see below.
Currently, Reylynn Caster portrays a slightly SORAS’d Faith, so we don’t expect to see Lind pop up anytime soon or for them to share any screen time with each other. Lucy is supposed to be a young teenager despite the fact that O’Briant is 17 years old. Who knows? Perhaps a little rapid aging is in Lucy’s future on the soap because O’Briant is doing an excellent job with the character.
