Sutton Stracke shared where she stands with Kyle Richards – who declared she’s taking space from their friendship. Sutton also clarified her comments about Mauricio Umansky skipping Kyle’s celebration of life event.
On the current season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton slammed Mauricio’s absence from the event, and she suggested he should have been there for his wife. In many episodes, Sutton questioned their marriage amid rumors that Kyle is romantically involved with country singer Morgan Wade. After the season wrapped, the couple revealed they separated.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Sutton shared that she and Kyle still are “taking some space.”
“I miss her,” said Sutton on January 23. “I miss our friendship, and hopefully we’re going to get into a good space again, but we’ll see.”
She also said watching season 13 made her “feel a little bit better” because Kyle’s relationship with Dorit Kemsley also has changed.
“It’s not just me,” explained Sutton. “You take things personally and sometimes it’s never really about you, it’s about the other person. So I’ve had to reflect on that.”
Has Sutton changed her tune on Mauricio not showing up to the celebration of life – now that Kyle revealed he already had plans?
”I didn’t think it was a big red flag, I just didn’t like it,” Sutton answered. “I’m just that way. I express my opinion to your face. I don’t do the behind-the-back thing.”
Regarding Kyle’s friendship with Morgan, she said she’s “never even spoken” to Kyle about it, as Sutton is on the “same learning curve” as everyone else.
