Days of our Lives star Susan Seaforth Hayes lost the love of her life when her husband on and off-screen Bill Hayes passed on January 12. There’s been an outpouring of love and support for Bill and now, Susan is speaking out for the first time since losing her husband.

“To all of you who honored my Billy with a word of remembrance, a sense of personal loss, or even a tear- I thank you,” Seaforth Hayes posted on the couple’s joint Instagram account. “You touched my heart by seeing in him the goodness and joy I experienced every moment of our wonderful marriage.

“May we all embrace life with the gusto of Bill Hayes — and enrich it with grace and love. ♥️ xx Susan,” the actress continued.

DAYS pals are bringing further support by posting on the Hayeses’ page. “I’ve felt his presence reverberating in the halls and in stage all week…true immortality. Sending you and your family so much love, Susan,” wrote Brandan Barash (Stefan). Added Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe): “Susan, I love you so much, you and you’ve been in [my] thoughts all week…sending all my love…” Bjorlin added three heart emojis to her supportive words.
