Surprising Reason Producers Had To ‘Re-Shoot’ Scenes From The Married At First Sight 2025 Weddings

Married at First Sight Australia producers have been forced to “re-shoot” scenes from the on-screen weddings for the 2025 series.

Whilst it feels like the 2024 season only just ended, filming for the twelfth series of the marriage experiment is already underway.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, the upcoming participants figured out who their matches were before meeting them at the altar, which went against the show’s premise.

“The foundation of the entire concept of the show is meeting a stranger down the aisle, and this year that hasn’t happened for several matches,” a production insider told the outlet.

“Producers have had to do a lot of re-shoots and faking reactions to try and maintain some magic.”

The insider explained that cast leaks have also ruined the “element of surprise”.

“They haven’t even finished filming the weddings and more than half of the cast have been named on social media and in the press,” they added. And it’s lucky people don’t go on MAFS for love anyway!
