Stephen Nedoroscik is going the distance as Hercules!
On the Tuesday, Oct. 22 episode of Dancing with the Stars, the Olympian, 25, and his dance partner, Rylee Arnold, took on the roles of Hercules and Meg from the 1997 animated classic, Hercules, for the show’s Disney night.
The two wowed audiences as they performed a high-energy Charleston routine to “A Star Is Born” from the film’s soundtrack, earning them a 24/30.
Prior to the performance, Nedoroscik said he was “excited” about receiving a 9 last week and looked forward to taking on this week’s challenge, stepping into character as Hercules.
Calling him a “goofy guy [and] super strong,” the Olympic gymnast joked that Hercules “likes to flex … so buying into this character will be super easy for me!”
Nedoroscik also emphasized how being this far in the competition is “unbelievable” and that he wanted the crowd to “feel the energy” with his performance.
He added, “There’s a chance I could make it to the finale and I’m gonna do my absolute best to get there! … Hercules, you got nothing on me!”

Hours before their performance, Arnold shared how Nedoroscik was planning on fully embodying the character when she documented his first spray tan in a video posted to her Instagram account.
“Oh he is so ready to be hercules on @dancingwiththestars tonight!!!” she captioned the clip. “We are so excited 😂✨🫶🏼.”
The gymnast was all smiles as he stepped into a tanning tent shirtless and wearing his Team USA shorts. After his session, he turned to a mirror and flexed his muscles while admiring his new tan.
Earlier this week, Nedoroscik and Arnold paid tribute to another iconic Disney duo while rehearsing for their big number.
“This was for the people who wanted to see us as Sharpay and Ryan for disney night 😂✨🫶🏼🤭,” the DWTS pro wrote alongside a TikTok video of the two lipsyncing to High School Musical 3: Senior Year’s “I Want It All” on Oct. 21.
Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, and can be streamed the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
