Married At First Sight stars Jeff Gobbels and Rhi Disljenkovic looked to be smitten when they were spotted strolling in Sydney last year during the final day of filming.
The pair, who were dressed in complementary stylish ensembles, were seen strolling hand in hand through the bustling cityscape.
Jeff, 40, cut a dashing figure in a plain black shirt paired with crisp white shorts, trendy white sneakers and sunglasses to complete his slick monochrome look.
He carried a bag from a fashionable clothing store in one hand with a relaxed demeanour, adding a touch of urban sophistication to his outfit.
Rhi, 34, was by his side and exuded casual elegance in a sleek black sports top and matching exercise pants, topped off with an unbuttoned white jacket.
Her effortless style complemented Jeff’s as they navigated the city streets, their bond evident in their held hands and shared smiles.
The heartfelt moment took a tender turn as they paused to embrace their co-star, Dave Hand.
Amid hugs and heartfelt farewells the trio exchanged chatted enthusiastically, showcasing the strong bond forged during their time together on the hit reality show.
Dave, 36, was dressed in a relaxed charcoal T-shirt, beige shorts and sneakers and looked effortlessly cool as he took in the sunny day.
Rhi became emotional at one point and tenderly embraced Dave in the middle of the street, as she said goodbye to her close friend.
Far removed from the drama that’s plagued the experiment, Rhi and Jeff have been focused entirely on each other – and it’s clear their connection has only grown stronger since cameras first started rolling.
In an exclusive chat with Daily Mail Australia, the fan favourites opened up about the moment they decided not to entertain a potential date with a mystery suitor – a decision that, for them, was a no-brainer.
‘Everything I was looking for in a partner and in the experiment – I already had that,’ Jeff gushed.
‘So for me to go on a date with someone I don’t know… it would be the stupidest decision of all time.’
Rhi echoed the sentiment, adding, ‘We had no issues at all. I got exactly what I asked for.
‘The grass isn’t always greener on the other side – it’s green where you water it.’
Despite being one of the most solid pairs on the show, Jeff was momentarily forced to consider a horrifying ‘what if’ scenario when Rhi was left to wonder if he’d taken up the challenge without telling her.
‘There’s always that split second that you think, “Oh my gosh, did he do it?”‘ she said. ‘But I was pretty sure he didn’t. His joke wasn’t that funny though.’
‘I thought it was funny,’ Jeff playfully shot back, sharing a rare moment of on-screen banter that fans have come to adore.
Viewers have dubbed them the ‘only real couple’ of the season – a title they don’t take lightly, but also don’t let define them.
‘We’re just in our lane, in our relationship,’ Jeff said calmly.
‘Obviously we got involved in other people’s [business] when we disagreed with something… but at the end of the day, the show is about your own relationship, and that’s what we focused on.’
Rhi added, ‘There’s no extra pressure now that the show’s aired. We just do us.’
Married At First Sight continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine and 9Now.
