Should Johnny Dimera Kick Up His Days Of Our Lives Romantic Game?

Johnny DiMera arrived on Days of our Lives convinced he was a great romancer. Then the Devil got in the way. Literally.

Days of our Lives Polling

He lost Chanel (Raven Bowens), and then stumbled through a lackluster courtship with Wendy (Victoria Grace). Now, he has a second chance with Chanel. But is he bringing enough romance to make a long-term love happen?

Johnny DiMera: Sleep No More

Chanel fell asleep on her last date with Johnny (Carson Boatman). Sure, she took some antihistamines. But Johnny and his boring Italian movie were hardly bringing the excitement. Chanel is a girl who has lived all over Europe, swung with the common people, and killed her much older lover’s wife. The point is she lives life in the fast lane. Netflix and chill isn’t it, 27% advise.

DAYS: Grown-Ish

Does Chanel get any say in this? After being publicly dumped by a possessed Johnny, cheated on by Allie (Lindsay Arnold), and having Talia (Aketra Sevellian) ruin her business and almost end her life, maybe Chanel wants boring, 29% of you offer. After all, she could have picked Talia, who is certainly a roller-coaster of excitement (under a layer of insecure and needy and nuts). But Chanel picked Johnny. So his brand of low-key charm is obviously what she’s looking for.

Johnny DiMera: It Can’t Hurt

It’s not that Johnny absolutely needs to be more romantic — but it surely couldn’t hurt, 44% of the audience are suggesting. How about he ask what kind of movie Chanel would like to watch? Maybe she’d even like to do it in a theater rather than on her couch.

Or maybe Chanel would prefer to go dancing or out to dinner. Somewhere that’s, you know, outside the apartment where she lives. This is a girl who frequented nightclubs and drank champagne out of slippers. Or whatever it is that rich, fabulous people do. She is happy to just be with Johnny. But couldn’t they be somewhere that doesn’t send her off to lullaby land?
