David Beador is being accused of violating a restraining order his estranged wife Lesley Beador‘s ex, Eriks Pukke, obtained against him last December.
As David, 60, who previously starred alongside ex-wife Shannon Beador, 60, on The Real Housewives of Orange County, and Lesley prepare to divorce for the fourth time, he and Eriks have embarked on their own court battle, with Eriks accusing him of a profanity-laced run-in and David firing back with a motion of his own.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch Weekly on October 1, Eriks, the father of Lesley’s two oldest children, claimed David “violated” the restraining order by getting within 100 yards of his car “and yelling profanities” at him during a custody exchange.
Eriks then revealed that David filed a civil harassment restraining order against him days later, even though he was allowed to pick his children up from David and Lesley’s home.
Although Eriks said he has not yet been served with David’s paperwork, he revealed David’s lawyer informed him that the court denied his request and set a hearing for October 11.
Also in court documents, Eriks requested he not be forced to testify in Lesley’s upcoming hearing, in which she will attempt to make her temporary restraining order against David permanent. However, in response to his request, a judge denied the ask, ordering him to appear remotely during the court appearance.
As RHOC fans may recall, Lesley filed a request for a temporary restraining order against David on September 10 that would protect her and her three children, including the two she shares with Eriks and her youngest child, three-year-old Anna, who she shares with David.
In Lesley’s request, she accused David of creating a hostile environment for their family and alleged that he accused her of conspiring with Eriks.
“All the children were present and witnessed [David’s] behavior toward Eriks. It was very scary. I recorded this whole incident and will provide the videos to the court,” Lesley said about the recent incident between David and Eriks. “After this incident I received about 59 harassing texts from [David] in a row telling me I was ‘having sex with him,’ ‘I should go have sex with him,’ and was accusing me of all kinds of things that could never be possible. [David] truly needs help. He gets in an obsessive mania state.”
“I never know when [David’s] next meltdown will be or how long they will last. These meltdowns when they occur are nonstop, even when he is working and they cause me to live in fear and to worry about the effect on the children,” she continued.
Meanwhile, in a filed declaration, David denied her claims.
“Lesley routinely tells me I am abusive when I disagree with her or make my opinions known. She has a habit of texting me consistently for hours at a time, trying to spark a reaction out of me. I believe Lesley is angry because I cut off the unlimited spending ability on her credit cards over the weekend,” he explained, accusing her of “extortion.”
“She is upset because I cancelled her credit card with unlimited spending. I am not required to sustain her lifestyle,” he added. “Lesley will spin whatever story she needs to spin in the correct circumstance to get what she wants.”
