Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke has finally revealed what’s going on with her Hollywood boutique, The Sutton Concept, amid rumors that it had closed.

Stracke, 52, who is a fan favorite on the Bravo reality series, opened her high-end clothing, home and accessory store in Los Angeles in 2019, and has documented her experience as a new business owner on the show.

Its grand opening was even documented during season 10, which premiered on the network in 2020.

Over the past few weeks, some fans believed that the store had shut down for good after someone spotted a ‘for lease’ sign in their window, and the fact that the boutique had announced it would be closed during the month of August.

But during an appearance on former Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis’ radio show on SiriusXM this week, Stracke gave an update on the store, revealing that there will be a lot of changes coming to her business.

‘I have expanded and don’t need my storefront anymore,’ Stracke explained during the episode of Jeff Lewis Live.

‘So, all of my inventory has been put on a pallet and is being shipped to Houston,’ she added.

The Real Housewives star and fashion connoisseur also shared that she the boutique will be made appointment-only now.

She will have a unit that is in the ‘back’ of the store with samples of the clothing for customers to browse during their appointment.

Currently, the TV personality sells a range of designers like Amber Sakai, Assouline, and even clothing from Brooks Marks, who is fellow Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks’ son.

And, even if you don’t live in California, the reality star also shared that much of her inventory will soon be available online.

Stracke herself has been known as somewhat of a fashion maven in the Bravo world, as she made a splash on her first season for wearing bejeweled clothing by close friend and fashion designer Dolce & Gabbana.

However, owning the boutique goes far beyond the concept of just selling clothing for her.

In fact, it’s something that has a much deeper meaning in her life, something that she explained during a confessional on last season’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

‘I started the store because I wanted to be in fashion for a long time,’ Stracke said. ‘But [my son] James said something to me when he was little. He said, “Mommy, what do you do all day?” I was, like, “Hmmm… Nothing. You know, go to board meetings, plan parties, make your lunch.”

‘So I wanted to show my children that I, too, can run a business, work, be professional,’ the star admitted.

Stracke, who got divorced from her husband in 2016, has been open about her past relationship and the lack of autonomy she felt while in her marriage.

The mom of three said on the show that it was really important that she went ahead and created her brand on her own.

‘I didn’t take anybody’s money to do it, and that feels really, really good,’ she said last season.

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo this Fall.
