Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke is getting backlash from viewers following the exit of her best friend Garcelle Beauvais from the hit Bravo series.
Sutton, 53, who is a longtime fan favorite on the show, has been accused by viewers of not adequately supporting Garcelle at the reunion.
Fans have flooded the socialite’s Instagram account with outraged comments, leading her to disable comments on a number of posts.
‘Garcelle was a true and genuine friend to you. Hopefully you haven’t lost that for your sake,’ wrote one.
‘I wish you were a caring friend to Garcelle. Those other women would have run you off the show years ago had it not been for Garcelle,’ said a second.
A third added, ‘Sutton, you should have went after Garcelle right away after the way she stood by your side the whole season.’
Another commented, ‘Normally I’m team Sutton against those shrews, but disappointed in the way you did nothing to support Garcelle. Terrible!’
‘You will never find a friend like Garcelle. Never! You were horrible to her after her having your back. I hope next season they chew you up!’ screamed a different user.
Some viewers also accused Sutton of prioritizing her friendship with Kyle Richards and Jennifer Tilly over Garcelle.
RHOBH fans were stunned when Garcelle announced in March that she was leaving the show after five seasons.
While many may have hoped that the three-part Season 14 reunion would offer more clarity on why she left, that wasn’t exactly the case.
The 58-year-old actress dramatically walked away from the show at the very last possible moment, right as the cast was preparing to take a cast photo.
After the entire cast got together for a toast with Andy Cohen, Garcelle pulled back and snapped ‘I’m out’ before storming off backstage.
Both Cohen and the rest of the cast looked visibly stunned and confused by Garcelle’s abrupt exit.
Instead of chasing after her, Sutton decided to remain with the group to take the cast photo together.
Meanwhile, Garcelle launched into a foul-mouthed tirade backstage and announced that she was quitting the show.
‘I’m just so f***ing sick of it. It’s like they’re all f***ing a**holes,’ she snapped.
Garcelle added, ‘Everybody jumped on me. And I felt like I was on an island by myself. I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them. I don’t trust them. And they obviously don’t like me.’
Fans hoping for some sort of clarity on her exit were left quite confused, as they took to social media to express their feelings.
‘Garcelle goodbye, so done with your antics. Big baby #RHOBH,’ tweeted one.
‘She’s been given more grace than any other Housewife on Bravo. She says the most foul crap in her confessionals & if called out she uses her dog whistle “racism” & “micro aggression”. She’s mad bc they didn’t smile when she’s had a scowl on all reunion. Girl stop!’ wrote another.
Podcaster Zack Peter wrote, ‘Garcelle’s walk off from the RHOBH reunion is the epitome of her time on the show: Lackluster and boring.’
However, a third wrote, ‘Good for Garcelle. The biggest a-hole is Sutton whose acting all clueless like she doesn’t know why Garcelle would be upset #RHOBH.’
