Raquel Leviss addressed a scene with Tom Sandoval that never aired on Vanderpump Rules, claimed production chose to “protect” him, and revealed she felt “betrayed.”

Recently, Raquel sued Tom after accusing him of screen-recording an intimate video without her consent before his then-girlfriend Ariana Madix discovered it. Tom, however, claims Raquel videotaped herself and sent the footage to him.

“There’s no guarantee that they would have aired [my side of the story],” said the star on her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast, reflecting on what might have happened if she chose to stay on the show, via @breakingtherulespod on Instagram. “I think the big reason why I knew that that would be a risk that I wasn’t willing to take is because of what has happened in the past with a story that was reality that never made it to air.”

“What I’m talking about specifically is when Tom came to my apartment the additional episode that was on season 10, and I confronted him about filming me without me knowing … which was a very real situation,” she went on. “And they captured his reaction. It was so hands-off at that point.”

She said production claims to capture “reality” but refuses to reveal this “juicy little piece of the puzzle.”

“They chose to not air that and protect him even though it would have been congruent with the storyline of me realizing that I shouldn’t protect Tom anymore,” she added. “Hence, the last five minutes of season 10. So, in that way, I felt betrayed, and it gave me a data point that even if I am sharing the full truth, they have the power to cut and manipulate to support certain cast members in the storyline that they want to support.”
